Women of Wrzeszcz - Alma Richter - ep 2

Female activists, pioneers, creators and organisers - unique residents of Wrzeszcz who made their mark on the pages of local and world history. The four episodes of the film introduce us to the fates of Anna Tuschinski - the pioneer of the Esperanto movement in Gdańsk, Alma Richter - the first female senator in the Free City of Gdańsk, creator of the Housewives' Association, Janina Jarzynówna-Sobczak - choreographer, pedagogue and founder of the Ballet School in Gdańsk, and Anna Walentynowicz - oppositionist and activist of the Solidarity Trade Union. The biographies of the Wrzeszcz women show
setting new paths requires careful listening to oneself, courage in making decisions and determination. It is not easy... but thanks to this, the next generations know which way to go.
