    I've been a passenger on this train many many times. It's always... a "real pleasure"

    Bruh, one time, I was driving, and I overshot the station by almost *ALL THE CARS!*

      @RampageRod-kt8mj Год назад

      My advice is entering a station while going 30-35 mph to make a perfect stop. I find that helps with the Harlem line TSW3 M7A and M3A.

    Great video . Your knowledge of the Territory is amazing. How realistic is the track layouts and stations ?

      It is generally accurate; minor details missing here and there, but nothing too major.

    Really nice guide, it was really hard to find people who explain what the "hold" position does. Also, is there a reason why you don't really use the dynamic brakes?

    • @FanRailer
      @FanRailer  Год назад

      The dynamic brakes are blended in with the air brakes automatically. You have no individual control over the dynamic brakes operating from the cab car anyway. While in the locomotive, I will use the dynamics by themselves, but sparingly so, as their use generally causes unwanted slack action.

    On my commuter railroad there is one engineer (great guy) but he doesn’t sound the horn or bell when leaving stations a lot of the time, sometimes he sounds the bell

    I am an engineer for the Long Island railroad and I enjoy train sim world but they don’t have the diesels on TSW so the NJ Transit electric locomotives are the closest thing due to their manual brake valves like in the DE/DM30’s. My question is on the NJ transit locomotives when you go to hold but need more break with the ABV, does the game require you to now bleed the brake pipe down to where you were before you went to hold and then further in order to get more brake? I know that’s how it works in real life lol

      I think so? I haven’t run the equipment in a bit so I’m not positive. But I believe it behaves as it should.

    When you switch directly from P1 to full power isn't there a worry of wheel slip? I don't have TSW though so maybe that's not a feature. Does weather in TSW make wheel slip more likely like in real life?

    • @FanRailer
      @FanRailer  Год назад +4

      Wheel slip is indeed a feature, and you will get it in poorer weather conditions. You are pretty good on dry rail though.

    i still can't understand how do i predict speed limits, it suddently goes from 60 mph to 40 without any notification and i have to quick break before penality is applied, worse is when it has to change the rail line and goes from 60 to maybe 20 just WTF
