Even as a sc candidate, I would say ki this placement thing is personal, most sc st students get colleges at very low marks, this is an indicator of the amount of quality they would provide for a company, if i were a company owner ofcourse i would pay less to you not because of your caste but because you may be incapable of providing me a profit on the salry i pay you. STOP PALYING VICTIM GOVERNMENT HAS DONE ENOUGH FOR US

There is no reservation in IIMs, so your theory has fallacy dude. Forget placements, you cannot even fill the vacancies of Dalit professors in IIMs. If one sees all three Baniyas in private sector, it doesnt mean they are meritorious, they are enjoying this hegemony because of Brahminical varna system
I am also a SC candidate. My academic are 10th 87.3,12th 78, grad-7.35. work ex 8 months. I am the first engineer in my family. Let's see what happens in future. As you said continuous learning is the only path to improve and i am also agree with you.I am not privileged but my children will be privileged because his/her father is an engineer and knows about the world.

this is a nice video bro, whatever you told is so true. no one is against reservation but set a benchmark , not general category 90% and SC/ST - 60% . same thing happens in every govt funded institutes, 60% guys can't compete with 90% guys easily and naturally placements goes to them.

If a company is offering 28 lakhs per annum which candidate will it prefer.... Someone who has performed well in national level competitive exam and has displayed determination and focus or someone using pure privilege and just solving the basic and getting in?
The video first tells the reality...no judgement about it and then actionable steps to bridge the gap. You are not entirely wrong, there are people getting in with 99 percentile from the reserved category too Using pure privilege can also come from general category rich people coming with historical advantages over other sections of the society and cautiously keeping the lower strata at their position and they are bound to be disturbed if someone from the reserved category makes it to the top institute. This video is addressed to the reserved category students only, to help them realise they need to up their game. Also remember reservation is an affirmative action.
@@AkhilDamodareAllSortedThen what about those people whose ancestors who came from modern back Pakistan (West Punjab nd Sindh) back in 1947, they didn't have money, home,anything etc, they struggled from 0 , many of who are still living kinda in poverty who would hv been rich if partition didn't happen, what about those people majority of them had been kept in Gen category, they deserve it more than sc/st.

@@adityagarg4307Reservation is necessary for SC/ st but problem is gap is not reducing by time OBC has reduced gap to considerable extent even after giving reservation for so many decades SC/st are still heavily dependent on reservation
Iam ST, 10th 92%, 12th 91%, engineering 70% from state's tier 1 & 2 years work ex, good extracurriculars...but 30 years old, gap is bcz of upsc and my business... Possible top IIMs?

General accept it, you have to compete with elite student of your group
I know its hard to you bcz if 100 general student giving the exam then all 100 are deserving but all 100 will not get the seat bro. If we sc/st leave reservation then also you have to score like before.
We sc/st are not your competition, we are with our seat(if general in elite class, sc/st are in rookie class) you are comparing two different division students instead of compaing with your elite division students. If you are seeing getting into clg with low marks then see our seat percentage also hardly 17%seats for us.
Then also your have hate, then good student from sc/st will fill form from general category they will fight for your seats if we get that seat then double benefit. Good student get seat in general category and avg sc/st student get seat from quota.

We are coming there by securing 99.99 percentile merit so hamare bich ,at least thodi si quality bhi jada nahi ho sakti?99.99 percentiler and 60 percentiler me thoda to faraq ho ga na tr..talent and iq matters friend! @@AkhilDamodareAllSorted Sorry Sir,it's just frustration of securing 95 percentile in cat and not getting call from main IIM while mine friend from reserved category got call at 72 percentile!... happy for him but feeling bad for myself- the hardwork and study I put in...so just emotions are out... sorry again!

Even though I have secured 92% in the cat exam this year but i couldn't make it for shortlisted in iim abc,i... Although my gf whose percentile is just 88% got shortlisted from every iimabci 1st round and please 🙏 note it else better go and check it reservations people aren't taking the seats of open category that the seats remain as it is. Just our govt increases the seats for those who belong to served category.

1) 95% well appreciable no. But remembered there are people Who still secured 100% in open category

2) reservation is not only for ews, obc st etc....
Bhai gender diversity ko bhi encourage krna partay joh ki girls who belongs to open category. Extra point to dena chye due to some reason.
3) also 95% you could easily get into some of iim's Or premier b school...also there are lots of exams like nmat, xat, gmat etc... Who really don't have reservation system... Idr jakke choka chakka maro.
N last not the least....
4) Real competition to under hii rahegah bhai...yaha rone donese kuch nai melegah apko b hmko...

@@ShubhamPatil-iy4zv brother i belong to category as well and to be honest people of category do suffer inside everything shown in the video is true we as human beings have not been treated like one since dog ages the amount of discrimination we face is something one should also ponder upon like u said 99 waale ke samne 60 wala kya hai.. believe me i can rekt you in seconds if we cross paths by my knowledge itself..but thats not we are here for at the moment ...in my community there are still people who doesn't have access to anything including me i dont belong to a lavish family background as well facing discrimination since childhood....and jha tak rhi reservation ki baat ...agar shayad aaj reservation na hoti to general waalo ki seat kum hoti.....when reservation was introduced in iim general waalo ki seat double krdi thi bhai...and believe me agar reservation na bhi hoti tab bhi mai teri seat kha jata aur ab bhi mai general category se general ki hi seat khaunga cat 99.21 percentiler 10/9/9 working as a technical officer...in a govt firm general category se aaunga and will eat up a damn seat of yours isko kehte hai general ke saath discrimination krna rona chod do and work hard...u scored 95 i scored 99 sc category so talent and iq me ffarak to hai aapme thoda kum hai for sure should have worked harder..
