maam, I got into NMIMS Mumbai college. fees is 25L. and It being Mumbai, the cost of living is too high. The minimum expense if I take is around 6 L(PG+Food+Bills). As I come from lower middle class family. I have no option but to opt for loan of whole 31L. My father commited to pay the interest amount till the time I get a job so that the principle amount dont accumulate, Frankly, I am a little scared about the journey ahead, as I think I got into the college just because NMIMs has only 10 percent weightage of Interview and more weightage in marks. thats why I didnt get cleared XIMB and IMI. seeing the batch of 600+ and the expense of NMIMS + Mumbai. I am not able to comprehend about the big loan I have taken and how much time I will take to repay and will I be able to crack a good placement as I am fresher and have no experience of business world. Can u share experience of someone who u know had taken such a huge loan. IDK I just need some reassurance

Hey, should we get the highest possible repayment time sanctioned? Does sanctioning a higher repayment time mean higher interest amount or does it not affect the interest.
Eg. Is getting 15 years sanctioned and paying in 5 years the same as sanctioning for 5 years and paying in 5 years?

Loan to le liya aur 15 saal tak agar inflation se match karak to bohot peeche rah jao ge dost agar tum job lagne ke baad hi 20-25 lakh ka loan chukane lago ge to future ghar aur baki cheezo ki planing kab karo ge tumhe loan pay krne me hi at least 4-5 saal lag jaye ga aur tum 4-5 saal peeche bo jao ge thora aise bhi socho fir kya loan leke padhna ….is really worth it ..?
