Hi Coral!
Goodmorning Jadyda
Hi Bridget!
Excellent as always... I accidently got a size 4.5 hook, but it turned out fine, not so mini...but cute anyway Thanks again
That's just fine too! Thank you for watching 😊
I think the making of the heel is just sooooo clever!@@JaydaInStitches
Just wanted to Thank You, for showing, where to place your needle if working left handed.
Hi Carolyn, thank you 💗 We try to be as helpful as possible!
Wanna make with crochet thread for Christmas journal!!Namaste 🐞🥰
ooooh YES!! Ohmygosh, I'm going to have to do that too 😁
I use your videos for all my projects! Always easy to understand. Did I miss how you make the multi-colors? I really want to do one!
Hi Kasey! Our written pattern includes instructions on making the multi-coloured version of our little stocking 😊 You'll find the link to our shop in the description box (or the pinned comment) if you want to check it out. Thank you for watching 💗
I'm left handed and legally blind and made 6 so far ,that's how easy she is to follow, thank you Jada
Wow! Thank you so much ❤
I figured if I made one stocking per day for my "advent" part, they would be ready for next year's advent calendar. (If all goes well)
Hi Robin, that works! I sat watching tv and making them over a weekend, have a few more to make yet, but I've been enjoying the process 💗
Hi Jayda! Thank you for this great video! I love your great teaching method and clarity of instructions. You speak my language! I am intrigued by the type of needle you use to weave in your ends! Are you using a beading needle? It makes it so much simpler and faster! I need to get one asap! Thanks again. Have a great holiday with your family! Virginia
Hi Virginia, Thank you for watching 😊 I'm using a wool needle, they're great! We have a whole video on them here: ruclips.net/video/0EWXaWWffxc/видео.html
@@JaydaInStitches Jayda, thank you so much for your reply!!!! I just entered my Michaels store, I will begin my search immediately. If I don't find any, I will follow the link in your video! Thanks again!
Do you have tutorial where you change color on each row of stocking? I've made 4 already for next year... Love these...
Hi Alice, Thank you for watching 😊 Our written pattern includes instructions for changing colours each row, the pattern is available in our Etsy shop (link in description if you want to visit!)
24:52 progress
I went to Etsy to get this pattern. I wanted to see how you did the harlequin stocking. My hands are all thumbs whwn trying to carry colors...
Hi Robin...not so! After seeing your photo I would say you're doing a fantastic job...BOTH the ways you did them!
An other cute pattern, beautifull.
When I finish the heel en get on with the sock,
there’s a little gap on the left and right side of the heel,
is that right or did I something wrong ?
Have a nice day 🌷🌸🌷🌸🌷
Hi Rosette, there's shouldn't be a noticeable gap there: keep your edge stitches tight and as you pass over that little spot when you go back to the rest of the sock pattern, keep that area a little tighter as you work across it.
Ma'am, I love this idea. but I don't have time. Plus 48 is a lot for 2 kids before the 1 st. I am literally about to start their paper roll ones i make every year.
* giggle * that is a LOT of little stockings!
@@JaydaInStitches I may have made a couple. 🤭 They will just be for show this year, but ready for next. Lol
So adorable! Where did you get the needle you weaved the tails in with!!
Hi Ronna! That's a wool needle, they usually come in sets of 3 and they're available in most places that sell yarn - we have a video on them here: ruclips.net/video/0EWXaWWffxc/видео.html
@@JaydaInStitches thank you so very much!
Love these. I watched the video thru before starting. Question: does the seam end up in front of the stocking? Just asking because it looks like youve started the heel in front of the back seam.
Hi! There is no seam as these are made in the round :)
@@JaydaInStitches
Thank you. Merry Christmas!
When making the six single crochet in the magic circle is the chain one counted as one of the six single crochet? Thank you
Hi Krista, no, the ch-1 just secures the circle and gets us some room to make our first sc. 😊
@@JaydaInStitches thank you 😊
What’s med weight yarn bk or chunky
Hi! Medium weight is also known as size 4 or worsted weight.
Hi Jayda. Vry innovative idea. Looks soo cool. I jus wntd to know hw mch yarn willI require for 1 stocking in kgs. Nd fr 24 stockings hw mch yarn. Plzzz gv me in kgs. Thank u. Love all yr tutorials. Soo easy to follow.
Hi Flavian, it will depend on your chosen yarn, but each stocking takes around 76 meters total.
These stockings are so adorable! I wasn't planning on doing more crocheting this month but now I have no choice. 😅 I have a question about the size: is this stocking big enough to fit a kinder surprise egg and a 100g bar of chocolate? My family has this tradition to celebrate Santa's Day on December 6th by giving kinder surprise eggs and chocolate to each other. These stockings would be an ideal way to pack them instead of using paper bags.
Kinder yes! Bar of chocolate not sure looking at mine right now the Hershey’s bar would just fit but you could see it as well. I would add a couple of more rows like instead of 10 add 14 that should fit nicely for both! Just going by my finished project!
Thank you Afroditi! 💗
Hi Jane, yes! You can certainly slide a kinder surprise egg into this...and if it's a narrow chocolate bar (rather than a wide one like a kit kat) then that should fit too 😊 You can also use a larger hook size if you need to (that will size things up a little)
@@JaydaInStitches Thank you!♥️
Hi Jayda. Can you clarify the last row of the toe? You said after adding the last 4 stitches we'd still have 24 stitches after having already done 24 stitches. So I did that but then when I did the next row with the 8 falling leaves, I had 2 stitches leftover. Thanks.
Hi! At the end of the Row 5 we should have 24 stitches. Single crocheting into the next 4 sts doesn't change the stitch count, it just evens up the shape of the toe circle to be more balanced. In this row we did not add any increase stitches (which in this case is 2 sc worked into the same st) so you could, in theory, crochet forever around and around and not increase the row stitch count if you're no longer increasing.
When you have finished this row, be sure you have 24 stitches. At the end of the first falling leaves row just before you slip stitch to join the row, you should have 8 Little Leaves. You will be skipping a couple of stitches in order to slip stitch to join the row because there are 2 stitches between the base of each Little Leaf. If you have more than 2 stitches left to skip at the end of the row, then you may have not skipped 2 stitches at some point along this row while you were making your Little Leaves. Every 3rd stitch should have a Little Leaf anchored on it 😊
@@JaydaInStitches Thanks, this helps a lot!! I should have said I had 4 stitches leftover (which includes the 2 to be skipped). How am I messing up something so simple? Lol. Thanks again for your help!
How can I make these bigger?
Hi Susan, we have a "big brother" version of our Christmas Stocking here: ruclips.net/video/lYnAwsVYtF8/видео.html
