Omg great demonstration. I was having a hard time like how to achieve that look since I have thin hair and the extensions would weigh it down. This video definitely explains the different ways to make it stay, high and full.
Me yesterday , got my ponytail yesterday morning , and I went to my mom friend house and we partied my hair feel out 5 times and it was just stressful day , it got all tangled and matted.
Things are so much more difficult if you have thick hair like me 😂 I either have hair sticking out or my bun is so big that it creates weird gaps in between the hairs of the pony 😂😭
levmalin I have a tips for people with thick hair or long hair (or both 😅). You have to do a bun with only half (or less) of your hair and left the rest out, then you fix the fake ponytail to your bun and use your hair that isnt in the bun to wrap the base of the ponytail... idk if that make sense (I usually speak french hehehe not english so sorry if there is any mistakes)
same here sis. lol for girls with long thick hair, just do a normal ponytail with your hair and place elastics on top of the main elastic until you get the desired height , then put your ponytail :)
Girl, you are so cute! Love your happy upbeat videos. I was watching to learn how to do my own hair extensions but the ponytail is the way I’m going. Longest extensions I can get in my part of the USA is 25” which is the same length of my own hair. It’s 112* today so I’m in a ponytail again but not a massive one. My hair is so thin, like corn silk. So my investment will be in a ponytail extension! Thank you, thank you for showing how to do a poofed ponytail!
Thank you for spilling about Ariana grandes ponytail. I never could get it right, even with my pretty human hair pony extension similar to yours, but a different color and length.
From just watching you do your video Id say I like #3 the best but Id have to play around with the extension on my hair and wear it to see which one I would like the best.
Followed every tutorial I could get hold of but couldn't get the ponytail to wrap around my scanty buch of natural hair. I had to sew a large piece of stretchy fabric into it. Seems to work fine too. Now I have to figure out how to hide the velcro part as it keeps popping out.
yeah they aren't the most secure little things. I just make sure to really get the comb under the elastic band, use two elastic bands if you need more grip. As long as you get the comb really in there you will be good. If you are still having issues you can try to bring the comb through and up on the other side of the elastic band. Its kind of hard to explain through text but instead of just sticking the comb straight in so it sits flat along your head, bring the comb up on the other side of the elastic so its sitting perpendicular to your head. It's a little trickier but it will definitely not come out if you do it like that. I hope that makes sense! I also make sure that the velcro makes a strong connection as well and there aren't any hairs in the grips. and then secure with a few bobby pins and you should be good to go :)
This really just helped me out tons. I used to use the cover kind but as my hair gets longer it’s harder to use the other kind. Not to mention it looks better with the wrap around.
you're right it definitely sits more like a natural pony where as the other methods are more of a glamorous look. Totally personal preference, technically there is no "wrong" way to wear a pony tail :).
I agree w/D-Merrill, the first one does definitely look more natural. However, my problem with the regular ponytail position is getting it to stay in all night. When I wear it at work bartending, I will start to feel the clip flip over backwards and the entire hair piece will start to fall down and eventually slip off like a bad toupee!! Lol.. Kind of embarrassing, not to mention super annoying when it happens in the middle of a busy night at work! I would appreciate if manufacturers could start offering different size and weight pony extensions; or at least attaching a larger and more secure clip to attach the hairpiece to different hair types to increase overall stability. Has anyone found a solution for this issue?
Great tutorial thanks for sharing .Love the third one ! It’s the way I currently wear my ponies. So glad I found your channel👏🏼 You even do the happy swing pony dance which is a must when testing out how sturdy that grande pony will be❣️
these made my fine hair feel so much more secure!! haha the normal application kept leaving the pony sliding out lol do you have any tips for keeping the top looking round and full and not bumpy? i find that the net underneath the top part of my pony bunches up and makes it look bumpy up there 😭
Late to the video just wanted to let u know it looks so good I’m new to this I want to try it out and see how I like it but I’m a natural ginger so I would prob have to dye my hair again red but thank you so much for this tutorial
Instead of doing the high pony, (Which looks great on you by the way) could you do a low pony for something more classic? Something you can wear to work. Maybe a bun too, options seem endless. I love the high ponytails but I think I'm a little to old to be wearing that. Lol. I'm 50 but get told often I look like I'm 35 but I think it might be a little old even for that age.
Yes absolutely you can do a low pony as well :) If you want a classier look for work I would go for a shorter pony not something so dramatic like in the video. My mom is in her 50s and she will wear a shorter clip in pony for work :) so easy to style your hair quickly and look put together.
It depends on the type of ponytail you have, I just got one from the hair shop and she’s too thin to do a good bun under!! 😩 trying the double pony trick for sure
I am struggling with the Velcro part ! It keeps getting full of the ponytail hair then it won’t work. That first time though !! So good And hahaha the ponytail evokes ‘gee thanks just bought it ‘ every time 😂
How do I do this if my own ponytail is already thick and quite long?? I just don’t know how to hide my own hairs or make it blend with the extensions and every tutorial I see is of girls with thin and short hair :(
If you have thick hair I would just keep it in a ponytail and then add the fake ponytail on top if you want added length and thickness. No need to put it in a bun first, I think that might look too bulky if you already have thick hair.
what i do is i sleek back my hair into a tight ponytail, and then i braid my hair extremely tight and then put it into a bun. i wrap the bun really tight together to make it significantly smaller. i have thick and curly hair so i understand what you’re going through. it doesn’t make my ponytail bulky or too tall at all, it looks natural.
My problem is my hair like is so thin I have one jus like this and when I put it on it jus always feels SO fucking heavy bro. Like I be scared to even flip my shit or anything it’s jus too heavy . The weft part is too big I feel like. Idk what other ponytail to get honestly
I matched it to the ends of my hair because they were platinum, but I could have gone with a darker blonde to match my roots. Ponytail extensions are really forgiving they don't have to match exactly :)
Thanks for the tips! But damn, over $200 for a ponytail extension?? I understand if it's real human hair, but I definitely recommend INH ponytails- they are the best quality, voluminous, and range between $50-$55
I don't have one but I'm pretty sure you can find them! If anything you might have to look for an ash blonde and tone it to be more grey to match your hair.
wow i’ve never seen someone with literally the exact same thickness length size of ponytail everything is the same about my hair. it’s really thin and fine and my ponytails are so tiny
I feel like doing the bun gives me the most security so it doesn't feel too heavy. And I try not to wear these type of styles too often to save my hair from breaking off honestly 😂

lau balles 😘
lau balles thx
Thanks
When I do a high ponytail the length isn’t consistent from the back. Any recommendations
This is one of the best ponytail tutorials I have found, thank you for showing exactly how it's done x
You're so welcome!
I would definitely go with the Bun that looks way better.
Omg great demonstration. I was having a hard time like how to achieve that look since I have thin hair and the extensions would weigh it down. This video definitely explains the different ways to make it stay, high and full.
Mine always slips out from the weight of the hair, any tips to make it more secure?
Lucy Starke is more hair ties
you can buy extra wig clip/combs to sew into the ponytail...I bought some on amazon.
I'd put a hair-tie after the ponytail is clipped on, but before the piece of hair is wrapped around the ponytail
Me yesterday , got my ponytail yesterday morning , and I went to my mom friend house and we partied my hair feel out 5 times and it was just stressful day , it got all tangled and matted.
Put a scrunchie or two on your bun. It's honestly a gamr changer! Also i'm sorry for being so late
Things are so much more difficult if you have thick hair like me 😂 I either have hair sticking out or my bun is so big that it creates weird gaps in between the hairs of the pony 😂😭
same problem...😭💔
A drawstring ponytail would be perfect for you. A wrap ponytail works better on hair that is smooth and fine.
levmalin I have a tips for people with thick hair or long hair (or both 😅). You have to do a bun with only half (or less) of your hair and left the rest out, then you fix the fake ponytail to your bun and use your hair that isnt in the bun to wrap the base of the ponytail... idk if that make sense (I usually speak french hehehe not english so sorry if there is any mistakes)
Same, my bun is so big it barely covers and you can kinda tell it's fake. 🙄😪
same here sis. lol for girls with long thick hair, just do a normal ponytail with your hair and place elastics on top of the main elastic until you get the desired height , then put your ponytail :)
Thank you! I was struggling with it so much which is why I'm on here looking for a solution. Loved the second one, can't wait to try it.
Thank you so much. Very clear and simple explanation for the straight hair.
Girl, you are so cute! Love your happy upbeat videos. I was watching to learn how to do my own hair extensions but the ponytail is the way I’m going. I never could get it right, even with my pretty human hair pony extension similar to yours, but a different color and length.
Loving the last one it looked higher and way more secure. Going to try this thanks!
The Best ponytail tutorials ✨️✨️
xoxoxo
I’m so glad I came across your video. I wasn’t sure which brand of ponytail to get!
From just watching you do your video Id say I like #3 the best but Id have to play around with the extension on my hair and wear it to see which one I would like the best.

Now I understand how to put the ponytail extensions 😃😃thank u so much!!!
How does the grip stay in your hair, mine falls off
yeah they aren't the most secure little things. I just make sure to really get the comb under the elastic band, use two elastic bands if you need more grip. The last method is the best!
SOOOO helpful! I was trying to crack this code and you did it for me! Love this!
I too like the bun idea! Looked great! You are sooo funny too! Love your humor! Thanks!!
yes the bun version is the best also for me it keeps the pony tails more secure!
so much more secure!
This really just helped me out tons. I used to use the cover kind but as my hair gets longer it’s harder to use the other kind. Not to mention it looks better with the wrap around.
I feel like the first one the “don’t” was the only way it doesn’t look super fakey. I guess it’s just personal preference.
you're right it definitely sits more like a natural pony where as the other methods are more of a glamorous look. Totally personal preference, technically there is no "wrong" way to wear a pony tail :).
Janna Niki I just realized I didn’t specify *for me personally. On you it looks great!
I agree w/D-Merrill, the first one does definitely look more natural. However, my problem with the regular ponytail position is getting it to stay in all night. I liked the last one!! Very good tutorial 👏🏼

Great tutorial thanks for sharing .Love the third one ! It’s the way I currently wear my ponies. So glad I found your channel👏🏼 You even do the happy swing pony dance which is a must when testing out how sturdy that grande pony will be❣️
"You like my hair, gee thanks, just bought it". LOL! I prefer the bun method. Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome! 😀
We can absolutely make that ponytail look more natural and seamless in a matter of seconds.
Hi you can see my lace through the pony tail any tips ?
I bought one a while back it’s chocolate brown kinky and I LIVE FOR IT.
sounds gorgeous!! Pony is life!! A good ponytail can really elevate your whole look lol
these made my fine hair feel so much more secure!! haha the normal application kept leaving the pony sliding out lol do you have any tips for keeping the top looking round and full and not bumpy? i find that the net underneath the top part of my pony bunches up and makes it look bumpy up there 😭
hmmm I'm wondering if maybe you could press it out with a flat iron?
Tutorial starts at 2:38
YOU r a doll PLUS I thank you for pony explanation and ideas to heighten. Thank you
thank you for watching 💞🥰 I'm glad you found it helpful
I would definitely do the bun style! Thanks for sharing 💗
love them all, but favorite is the highest ponytail
The bun might work better for me too, because my high ponytails always slide down the head, and that’s even without a hairpiece.
How do you know which HairColor suits your hair color
Late to the video just wanted to let u know it looks so good I’m new to this I want to try it out and see how I like it but I’m a natural ginger so I would prob have to dye my hair again red but thank you so much for this tutorial
Omg so helpful literally just brought Kiki pony tail and there video did not help could not get it to stick and stay thanks heaps x

My head always hurts because the weight of the pony tail is pull it down and the clip is digging into my head. Any tips on that?
Super cute..second one!!
We have to do high ponytails with extensions for show choir so this is really helpful ❤
Thank you Spicy ;) I am so happy you found it helpful xo
I like the bun way the best 💗 thank you for this
When i tie my hair it somehow also end up abit on the side because might be the pressure of grabbing the hair
This is your hair color mame!!! Compared to all other colors this one suits u best in my opinion
It depends on the type of ponytail you have, I just got one from the hair shop and she’s too thin to do a good bun under!! 😩 trying the double pony trick for sure
hi where can i buy good human hair extensions pony tail here in the Philippines so cheap like a doll pls tell me.. can you help me find one
I've had mine in the box for a year😂. I'm so excited to try this look for my day off in NOLA! Thanks for the tips!!
this really helped me!
yay! I'm so happy it helped
Why does my comb always fall out of my real hair? Where are you pushing it into?
I am struggling with the Velcro part ! It keeps getting full of the ponytail hair then it won’t work.
That first time though !! So good
And hahaha the ponytail evokes ‘gee thanks just bought it ‘ every time 😂
You’re a lot of fun! Thanks! Can’t wait to try it on!
Hi wonderful tutorial, very informative and interesting to watch,
Now I’ll upgrade my gunning technique sure hope would looks as good.
-Thank you .
Would the bun not poke through?
love it! thanks, riley
Love it! Just ordered mine
Super cute! Thanks for the tip.
Loved the demonstration. But I have thick hair. Making it significantly more difficult.
I like the ponytail method with the several ties BUT, I find that my hair is popping out and is noticeable how can I hide ir
A drawstring ponytail, again. So all of your hair is covered past the elastic.
Alternately the bun method she shows here should work.
Janna Niki aww thank you so much for responding!! I till definitely try it :)
what i do is i sleek back my hair into a tight ponytail, and then i braid my hair extremely tight and then put it into a bun. i wrap the bun really tight together to make it significantly smaller. i have thick and curly hair so i understand what you’re going through. it doesn’t make my ponytail bulky or too tall at all, it looks natural.
hatpb braiding it compacts it down so then the bun isn’t all frizzy and poofy and big.
anna sings thank you so much!! That is a really good idea I am going to try it! Thank you:):)
Is this a 30" weave?
My ponytail extensions are not thick so a layer of clip ons before putting the ponytail, but nice trick with the extra hair tie for that up look
This video was so helpful, I just bought a ponytail extension and I wanted it to look like Ariana Grande. These tips were amazing ❤️
Glad you found it helpful.😃 Now we can all have ponytails like the pony queen Miss Ariana Grande 🙌
Thank you❤
Great tutorial, thanks so much.
Best tutorial..thanks ❤
2 & 3 are my favorite Thanks Girl!!!
Where do you buy your real hair?
So glad I found this video
OMG! OMG! OMG! It look so good
I love the #3 its looks great!!
Thank you darling!
Thank You For Sharing. Loved the third one.
I like the last one
It looks sooo cute!! I definitely dig the last one best! Thanks so much for the tip. I will be trying it. :)
Great video, I wasn’t happy with my fake pony because it looked so flat, problem solved with your technique ☺️
Oh good! I am so happy you found it helpful :D
She’s right i tried it with the bun it looks better
Can you take the entire ponytail and make one big bun on top?
Omg so helpful!
so pretty! thank you!
My problem is my hair like is so thin I have one jus like this and when I put it on it jus always feels SO fucking heavy bro. Like I be scared to even flip my shit or anything it’s jus too heavy . The weft part is too big I feel like. Idk what other ponytail to get honestly
I just bought a fake ponytail and it hurts my head so much, feels reaallly heavy. Did you find a solution?
How much was the ponytail extension
Can you use it more than one time?:)
BTW it looks really good !!
I like it the other way cause I like it to look more natural, and then I put a scrunchie around it so it looks even more realistic
how’d u choose the right colour??
I matched it to the ends of my hair because they were platinum, but I could have gone with a darker blonde to match my roots. Ponytail extensions are really forgiving they don't have to match exactly :)
Great, helpful, quick video. Thanks a bunch!!
Yay! I'm so happy you found it helpful xo
Lol I’m wearing ponytail extensions for the first time and it’s flat on top and shiny as fuck! But I don’t care cuz it still looks nice!
rock it girl!
Faziii use dry shampoo on the extensions to make it less shiny.
the bun trick doesnt work if you have long, thick hair.
Thanks for the tips! But damn, over $200 for a ponytail extension?? I understand if it's real human hair, but I definitely recommend INH ponytails- they are the best quality, voluminous, and range between $50-$55
Thanks for the tip 😃
Adorable! Thank you : )
Good on ya haha! Thanks!
Thanks Yasemin 😉
Can you dye this exact color with Arctic fox dye?
This pony is made from human hair and its light enough that you could dye it any colour from arctic fox :)
I would do the bun! thank you!
Do u have a gray human hair ponytail?
I don't have one but I'm pretty sure you can find them! If anything you might have to look for an ash blonde and tone it to be more grey to match your hair.
@@JannaNiki Thank you very much for your response.
I’m going to buy one soon
you are going to love it! 😀
wow i’ve never seen someone with literally the exact same thickness length size of ponytail everything is the same about my hair. it’s really thin and fine and my ponytails are so tiny
omg my ponytails feel non-existent sometimes, I'm glad you can relate 😂
I clicked on this video on accident and 0:01 killed me
Ok, but how do you stop it feeling so heavy and pulling out your real hair?
I feel like doing the bun gives me the most security so it doesn't feel too heavy. And I try not to wear these type of styles too often to save my hair from breaking off honestly 😂
