    I am soooooo excited about this series! As far as journaling...I am meticulous about writing down the stories and never lack for things to say, lol...but I struggle to fit all the journaling in, by the time I fill the spreads with photos and products. So, I'm happy to get ideas from this video, such as having a whole insert dedicated to journaling, as well as the reminder that I can type it out on the cards I add. Thanks for giving us lots of examples! Well done! P.S. Love the nail polish. It's cute + flattering with your skin.

      Thank you!! I hope these tips help you get your stories in your album. The words are super important to include!! That’s great that you are so good at keeping up with them, that’s the hardest part to go back and fill in later. ❤️

    Awesome share. I especially love how you mentioned that you keep track of your stories in your Hobonichi Cousin. What a great use for the narrow weekly pages! Always fun to see how others document their life and I appreciated the tips you shared--THANK YOU!

    Love these ideas! Thank you so much. Ive mentioned in previous videos about getting started and not entirely decided on how i would catch up/start etc. Ive now decided to start PL from May when my son turned 13. I will go back and move photos from albums into a PL format, writing where i can remember stories and accepting where i cant. I love your tips and will be watching the rest of the series for sure 😊 xx

      I was also meant to add that this video has now inspired me to keep a journal for my stories so that I don't forget any from now on, although I feel I may end up down a happy planner rabbit hole 😅 x

      Oooh I’m so excited for you!! I hope this works out well. For the planner, remember that the goal is for project life so keep it manageable so you can keep up with it (unless you’d rather do memory planning which is also great! But I’ve heard is more time consuming than project life).

      @@LindaLovesCreating thank you for your reply. Yes I realised quite quickly that potentially the planner could become a whole new thing (after watching some videos) so I will use just a normal A5 notebook and date the stories which I want to include. If I had more time, space and money I may have embraced the memory keeping, but I also don't want to double up recording and documenting. I really do appreciate your time in replying and thank you for your awesome videos 😊 x

    Super appericate this series. I've fallen into a PL funk recently so this is absolutely needed for me to refocus and realign into this project. Thank You Linda! Cheers ~ Michelle 🇨🇦

    Thank you. Great ideas. I've been looking to revisit ways to use Project Life in my Memory Keeping lately so these are great ideas. I also currently use a Hobonichi Mega for tracking my Currently activities as well as my meals. I have the Day One app and the Daily Bean app and this helped me come up with new ways to use these.

    What type of photo printer do you use? Not having my photos "at the ready" keeps me from routinely doing Project Life or scrapbooking. I'm looking forward to your series!

      I use a canon iP8720, it’s a large format photo printer and I love it! amzn.to/4d8NIyi

      Thank you!! Unsure that I have many good photography tips, I am def not an expert but it’s just something you get better at with practice. I do have another installment in this series on photography but it’s def not full of technical tips because I wouldn’t know where to start with that. 😂

    Great info and reminders! What is your preferred font size when you type?

    • @LindaLovesCreating
      @LindaLovesCreating  5 месяцев назад +1

      It depends on the font, but usually about 11? Sometimes I will print a sample out to make sure the font size looks right before printing everything for my project.

      @@LindaLovesCreating I’m currently working on a digital PL album and I’ve been using 11 as well. I can fit so much journaling that I started thinking this must be way too small! I’m planning to get a couple samples before printing my entire book to double check readability.

    Love this! Thanks so much Linda; I’m looking forward to the rest of the series. Do you use photoshop for journaling on your cards? I don’t hand write so creating coordinating journaling cards really slows down my progress and often prevents me from completing my pages. 🥺

    • @LindaLovesCreating
      @LindaLovesCreating  5 месяцев назад

      Yes, I use photoshop. When I do digital journaling I will either use the digital card and type directly on it, or, more often, I create a text box that is the size I need and print on vellum or sticker paper to add onto my card. But I do hand write most of the time because it is so much faster!
