Christine, I really appreciate your designer's eye. You create really elegant layouts. I think these tips were all new to me. I have so much washi and don't know what to do with it. Mostly I am using the uglier rolls for masking and holding things down. I use some in my super minimalist, practical bullet journal.
Hi Carla. Ahhhh…. Thank you for your kind , encouraging words and sharing your crafting preferences. Washi has always been one of those things that I just used as “tape”… so being a washi hoarder myself I thought I would challenge myself with washi in this journal. Happy crafting my friend.
I just subscribed…. Love to hear you narrate and enjoy seeing your creations…. As for me and washi…. I love using it on cards and envelopes and to hold down my dies as I die cut.
Tyfs! You’re welcome Theresa! Btw, lm publishing another washi video at the end of this coming week. I think you’ll like these ones too🤗. Have a great weekend😀
Totally love your ideas, just came across your post, and as i am a newby to scrapbook journaling your ideas are simple to follow and use... blessings fron S.A.
@4:24 I think you can also easily do that without wasting washi tape buy stamping just a scratch paper then cut it out place it and stamp again. I think yours is great idea and that's how I came up with mine! Thank you! Love your video. I'm a beginner so your video helps a lot x)
I have never used Washi tape as masking tape, but it’s a great idea. I covered a cardboard box with Washi tape and used it as a stand for a painting. I’m just getting back into paper crafting after many years and house clean outs. I enjoy your delivery. Your voice is very pleasant 💝
Btw, I wasn't a huge fan of washi tape until I started playing around with it. It's a great way to add dimension to your projects without having to pull out too much stuff like your mixed media. Do you primarily scrapbook or journal?
Hey Christine I loved this video. I use it to protect my journal spine in my art journal. So I open up my journal ready to start crafting and then put a strip down the middle between both pages and then start crafting. This prevents it from falling apart 😊 thank you for sharing your tips and giving me some extra ideas
@Christine M Leung @Christine M Leung I haven't posted any videos on it myself. It was actually an idea I got from maremi SmallArt who has some fantastic journalling videos 😊
Thank you for sharing Stephanie. Btw, is there a specific brand of colouring books you enjoy? I wanted to incorporate that into my scrapbook journaling?
Hi Lorie. Do you have problems with your washi not sticking or losing its adhesiveness over time? If so, what do you use to keep it from unravelling? Is there certain brand you use?
Hi Carol. I forgot to put it in my description box. Thank you for catching that. Its the Uchi's design. Its hard to find. Last time I looked it was discontinued. If you come across a company that still sells it, will you let me know. Thank you.
Hi I am your new subscriber. I love your ideas to use washi tape. By the way, I like your paper clip, where did you buy it? Thanks in advance. God bless you
Hi Angel Fish. I’m so glad you are creating a prayer journal. I found when I started writing on a regular basis, God revealed much tome. I pray this same type of peace and revelation for you too. Have fun creating! 😀
Hi Theresa. oh my goodness.... did I forget to put that in the description box. Let me check. Its from the Libri Muti collection. I'll post the link in the description box. Thank you for catching that! By the way, is there a journal company or brand you like to use? I'm always on the look out for new journals. Happy Crafting!
Christine; thanks for the journal info! I don’t have a particular brand or style of journal. I am very texture-driven, so whatever has a good feel in my hand is my favorite. That being said, I really like a lot of paper items from Peter Pauper Press. They are available in Barnes and Noble bookstores as well as Amazon.
Hi Sharon. I stamped the postcards. The stamp I used is no longer in production but I did put a link to similar ones in the description box below. Btw, check out this video on how to use postcards as your scrapbook journal. I think you'll like it. Have a great weekend! ruclips.net/video/zJpNJbMP-nk/видео.html
I love that you’re still writing letters. Everyone has gone digital that it’s nice to know people still enjoy the art of “snail mail”. Thank you for sharing! Have a great week 😊
I received so much washi for Christmas. Problem is Washi never sticks well. It always peels away so while I love the colors I wish I could use it more but get frustrated when I make a junk journal and later find the tape loosened. Any tips?
I agree, washi doesn’t seem to stick well. Mod podge is a good way to seal the washi permanently. Let me know if that works for you. Have a great week.
Hi Joyce. Ummmmm… how do I say this??? Are you “The Joyce Meyer” of Joyce Meyer Ministries? Am I in the company of greatest here??? And if you’re not, … I am still in the company of greatest because you are watching my stuff and supporting me. That to me is a blessing in itself.
@@christinemleung I am not the ministry Joyce Meyer. A few years ago I was in Jerusalem on a tour and my lanyard had my name on it. Someone asked if I was with her tour group. I said "no I am not on her tour, that is my name." They said "you have her name." and I answered, "NO, she has mine!" lol

Hi Judy. Welcome to the channel. Scrapbook journaling is so addictive isn’t?! Btw, does S.A stand for South America?

Thanks so much Debbie! 😃
I love these techniques ❤

The masking technique for stamps was my favorite. Have not used washi, but will try it!

Hi Yamini. Thank you for watching! Have a fantastic week.
Where did you get your washi dispenser? I love that it holders multiple rolls to tear at one time.
Sorry for the late reply. If you're referring to the silver box. That was my mother's old jewlery box that I used to display the washi tape.
Christine, so many great ideas. I usually use washi tape in my planner. Thank you, Lorie D.
