    Christine, I really appreciate your designer's eye. You create really elegant layouts. I think these tips were all new to me. I have so much washi and don't know what to do with it. Mostly I am using the uglier rolls for masking and holding things down. I use some in my super minimalist, practical bullet journal.

      Hi Carla. Ahhhh…. Thank you for your kind , encouraging words and sharing your crafting preferences. Washi has always been one of those things that I just used as “tape”… so being a washi hoarder myself I thought I would challenge myself with washi in this journal. Happy crafting my friend.

    Thanks for sharing

    • @christinemleung
      @christinemleung  Год назад +3

      Hi Marisa. I like that idea of writing it down and putting it into practice. I myself have so much washi that I vowed I would challenge myself to use it in this journal for more than just taping things down. My inspiration usually comes from scrolling through Pinterest. I love making cards so when I look at the techniques people use to make cards, I always think of how I can incorporate the technique into my scrapbook journals.

      Hi Pamela. That's how I started off using washi tape but now I'm stretching my imagination a little bit and trying new ways of using it. If its boring washi tape that you would not normally like to keep then thats ok. Check out this video on washi tape. It'll change the way you craft with washi. ruclips.net/video/96PoVmbtRSU/видео.html

      That’s a rather dull & wasteful use of decorative washi tape. That’s what plain painter’s name is meant for, not the washi that is bought for more creative journaling, card making, etc.

    Tutorials are enough on their own with the voiceover.
    The music alienates a lot of people.
    There are many who will be triggered by sensory overload from the visual, voice and music.
