  • S03E06 of The Orville New Horizons should be called "That's All I've Got To Say, Part 2". Scott Grimes once again performed this masterpiece (originally from Jimmy Webb) gorgeously.
In any case, "Twice in a Lifetime" is a pretty good title and doubtlessly it is a grandiose episode.

When I heard this song in this episode it hit me with such familiarity and nostalgia. I instantly loved it and I couldn't work out why. It wasn't until later when I was researching that I found it it was from a movie I saw when I was probably about 4-5 years old - The Last Unicorn! It might be the first music I ever heard as a youngster and had some kind of emotional impact. It's an incredible rendition of the song, I'm just so glad they put it in there. I also really like the little symphonic recap that's played at the end of the episode. Kudos to Seth and Scott!

The Last Unicorn, yes - a beautiful film. Regarding the "little symphonic", the instrumental version before the end credits started: While I made this video, I thought about adding the sequence to it. Today I kind of regret that I have'nt done it.

I guess if Hulu will be bought by Peacock - or at least The Orville gets to Peacock with any kind of deal between Disney and Comcast -, the chances are high for a season 4; this is probably the reason why the situation is still unclear.

At least he knows about it after hearing the story from Ed and Kelly. And maybe he will dream of it. But to be honest with the character Gordon in this show I can rather imagine that he will make a joke out of it, like: "I was married to a woman 400 years ago and I don´t remember anything". Or much better: Writing a song about it! If there will be a 4th season that could be, somehow, very touching.

Lasting impressions was such a wonderful episode! I fell in love with Gordon in that one, (I already loved Leighton, so no prob on that front ;) and to hear him sing it's song again is such a bittersweet moment.
Somehow I wish Gordon can meet someone who's related to Laura in "his" future.
So he and we all get to know what happened to her and her relatives.
