The thing about Brandon Stephen in my opinion is that he's a good corner, but hes not aggressive. He's good at covering and always there, there's no wide open throws with him, SO he need to take the next step.. be more aggressive, make play on the ball. Go from good to great.

Eddie Jackson is the worst safety in football. Zac Orr through 7 weeks has been apart of the worst defense we’ve had since 1996. I watched him call the same play, blitzing Washington a db, on Cleveland’s last td drive. 92 is making 23million dollars this year and should have been franchise tagged because him repeating a 13 sack season was highly unlikely and more of a situation one year wonder than him being dominate and forcing his sacks. Defensive backfield has dropped over 10 int this year and given up the most 20+ air plays this year after. Roquan told us after the raiders game we wouldn’t play worse but we have given every team since their best offensive day, including today giving up 29 points to a 1-6 team yet to score 20, with their 3rd string qb and new play caller.
It looked like the DBs were playing with no arms. I'm not sure Orr understands defense to the level that is needed to call and run a defense in the NFL. Promoted 5 years too early. Time to demote him.

Number one defense in the league last season. Helped carry us to the AFC Championship game where the offense was the liability. The offense has been great this year. Yes we had struggles early adding in Derrick Henry but those have been squashed and we were in a groove. Today they forgot who Derrick Henry was again. But the killer. The killer was this defense led by Zach Orr. Mike McDonald put fear into offenses. Every offense they went against was terrified of interceptions, sacks, forced fumbles, you name it we had it. We lost the traitors in PQ and Geno Stone. BUT ALL THE MAIN PIECES ARE STILL HERE This is not a personnel issue. This is a coaching issue. I was psyched to see Orr lead this defense. But it’s been flipped from #1 to #32 in one offseason. The real fans know this is Zach Orr and his inability to coach schemes and lead a group. He’s gotta go. Ravens have to reestablish the fear our defense puts into teams. Because this defense will not stop a playoff team. No doubt in my mind about that. I hear you but the players are mostly the same as last year, the biggest change from last year is scheme. These guys are leaving receivers wide open. You go from the best defense to the last in a year, it's more than players. Yes they dropped a ton of interceptions but also blew coverage all day

Fire Zach Orr. Take Eddie Jackson off the roster. Make everyone do 24/7 catching drills. EDC if you are serious at all, trade for an Edge, CB or Safety. We lost to the 1-6 Browns who are dead last in Scoring Offense. Heres a very clear look at the Playoffs: Lamar balled out but the Offense somehow struggled to the Browns Defense which is about middle of the League Ravens Defense is the only to allow the dead last Browns 29 points, and is last in the League Meanwhile the Chiefs have the best on both sides. We. Will. Lose. Again.
First you have to be able to access coaching versus execution. If you saw a lot of defensive backs in place to make interceptions that they just didn’t. Then you don’t have a point. If you didn’t see it than you don’t have the minimum vision necessary…..

This defense is SOOOOOO confused about what their assignments are it is a shame to call them RAVENS!!! Running the ball, and good defense. That's playing like a Raven. Are these players even thinking in the game??? Every single week it's the same song. "We have communication breakdowns, we'll get it fixed" YEAH RIGHT!!! The Ravens will be sitting at 8-9 at the end of the season saying... "We'll be back next year" You can't have the same breakdowns every week and be calm about it. Defense can't stick in man to man, can't cover any man, nor can they intercept passes. All three losses are on the DEFENSE!!! Zack _oor needs to call someone, anyone for help in teaching this defense where to be on the field, how to stay on their man, how to actually tackle instead of bouncing off of players!!! The OLD defenses flew to the ball and even seemed to know where the quarterback was going to throw. So my assumption is that these guys play the game, but THEY DO NOT STUDY THE GAME!!! The great ones studied film tirelessly!!! Ray and Ed, enough said!!!

Number one defense in the league last season. Helped carry us to the AFC Championship game where the offense was the liability.
The offense has been great this year. Yes we had struggles early adding in Derrick Henry but those have been squashed and we were in a groove. Today they forgot who Derrick Henry was again.
But the killer. The killer was this defense led by Zach Orr. Mike McDonald put fear into offenses. Every offense they went against was terrified of interceptions, sacks, forced fumbles, you name it we had it.
We lost the traitors in PQ and Geno Stone.
BUT ALL THE MAIN PIECES ARE STILL HERE
This is not a personnel issue. This is a coaching issue. I was psyched to see Orr lead this defense. But it’s been flipped from #1 to #32 in one offseason.
The real fans know this is Zach Orr and his inability to coach schemes and lead a group. He’s gotta go. Ravens have to reestablish the fear our defense puts into teams. Because this defense will not stop a playoff team. No doubt in my mind about that. And if we win a game it’s on the backs of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.

I hear you but the players are mostly the same as last year, the biggest change from last year is scheme. These guys are leaving receivers wide open. You go from the best defense to the last in a year, it's more than players. Yes they dropped a ton of interceptions but also blew coverage all day

First you have to be able to access coaching versus execution. If you saw a lot of defensive backs in place to make interceptions that they just didn’t. Then you don’t have a point.

We are blowing the season. EDC needs to get better safeties and help on the defensive line, too. Restructure contracts and bring in Budda Baker or Javon Holland, or both and also Calais Campbell, who's having a great year. Probably, John should turn the playcalling over to Dean Pees, too. Orr isn't ready yet.

The difference in physical abilities between the good teams and the bad teams is minimal. A good team that isn't ready is begging to be embarrassed. It's one of the things that keeps the NFL interesting.
How can John Harbaugh say after losing this game that he has confident in this defense. I'm sick of his excuses about this defense saying it's going to get better week after week. The defense is getting worse not better, and Zach Orr is the worst defensive coordinator the Ravens ever had and should be fired. If this doesn't get fixed there is no way the Ravens are going to make it to the Superbowl. EDC needs to make some serious moves to help the defense before the end of the NFL trade deadline. Also Derrick Henry averaged 6.1 yards a carry and only got the ball a 11 times with Justin Hill getting 2 carries for a total of 13 carries for running backs and best running game in the NFL. That is absolutely ridiculous.
