Gay men and lesbians have a badger-and-coyote kind of relationship, where we're usually natural enemies but will put our differences aside when the situation calls for it.
Why would you be natural enemies? Aren't lesbians and heterosexual men natural enemies? If bisexual girl walks into a bar no gay will try to compete with us.
Not really enemies tho, lol. Some gay men fear lesbians, but also are a great touhg emotional support. (Not always tough, but somehow most of the lesbian girls I've met are some of the strongest (emotionaly and fisicaly) people I have ever met)

Personally, as a lesbian myself. I love gay men and I don’t have anything against them. I have gay family members and friends and I support them obviously, but it’s so annoying how they always try to put us into the same box.
We are not the same. It’s like straight men and straight women, we don’t do or like the same things. We behave differently, we have different interests and different experiences… It’s like the whole POC community. It’s like saying black people and asians are the same because they are both not white. It simply doesn’t work like that.
I love this because the first friend i made in highschool turned out to be gay and i turned out to be a lesbian

I’ve gotten along with lesbians better than other gay men. A lot of lesbians are just cool and I just bond with them over similar hobbies.
Literally all my best friends are lesbian and i'm gay. Friendships between us grew quickly. With straight girls there was always this thought of "i dont want them to think i was hitting on them even though i'm gay" and with straight guys i dont even talk to them because they can be fucking mean and i dont want them to think i was interested in them either but between gays and lesbians theres no fucking hesitation. We can go to a candlelight dinner and just have fun and its completely casual and free of pressure

I think its less about whether gay man or lesbian woman have anything in common or not, but rather that there's a lot of internalized Misandry and Misoginy in either group. or just clashing behaviors that aren't as apparent in in straight-gay interactions (likely out of fear of being labelled as a bigot or out of concession to lgbtq population due to their life experience and possible discriminatory circumstances they've faced
