I could likely solo that challenge on a prot pally right now. We nearly did it in a +8 today with me tanking and healing the entire team. We got eudora to 10% or less more than once, I'm only 113 ilvl! I'm going to go find out.

I was expecting at the end Rextroy to just demonstrate how to one-shot all three bosses killing toads and using simple game mechanics, while being naked, lvl 10 and with a grey weapon.
Yes a good concept. Done something similar, more in terms of my own POV on the alts I play. All my alts are benthic gear masterace, so quit shitty equal power, and I found in terms of solo it was always, well nearly always, melee classes that did best. Demon hunter especially, but maybe it was nerfed now a days.
What about bm Hunter pet tanking? What about warlock shaman pet tanking? The only class here playing fair and winning the contest was spriest. And i have to say i knew they'll win before i even started watching.
Bruh we cant help daddy blizzard fucked our class. Felt good for a while. Might aswell stick with it now that im exalted with 98 faction and gained a fuckton of achieves over the last 4 years on this fucker. Not to mention I was told I wouldnt have a spot if I switched :(

Well done everyone else who participated! I was one of the priests in the roundup. Honestly, new class mechanics and busted damage aside, it was Fade that really carried the day there. Oh! And the other priest who Life Gripped me when I was about to die. Hats off to you sir!
I dont understand why they didnt all go destro and either chain stun it with their infernals, for extra breathing room.. or just all go affliction, dot them all up and burn down while hopefully using Exhaustion curse and kiting..
That was real fun to watch! I throughly enjoyed the action, drama, and suspense of each classes outcome! If Blizzard can find a way to keep this or add another similar boss fight in SL, I'd love to see another tournament down the road. With cash and prizes?!? Awesome job and claps all around for everyone who participated!
Was really fun making it, just gotta find cool bosses that are entertaining to watch with the right difficulty... Perhaps could add some gold price next time :)
I've not played in the last 5 months but played a little bit on my destruction lock yesterday doing island pvp and man i don't know what they changed redid my spec very fast from a guide but i felt like half as powerful as before.

The DK and Druid I could already imagine especially in prepatch where unholy is so strong and with even more survival cds than before. The priest fight was so impressive, the amount of fade swap timings were unreal, well played to them.
This was a fun video. The locks looked like they had it then forgot about the shotgun boss. DKs it was obvious they'd crush it. The opening burst is insane, the constant healing with Death strike but I'm surprised one of them managed to die since they have two others to taunt rotate. Surprised the Shamans crushed it so hard, but maybe I shouldn't have been.
Given how often we get nerfed or entirely overlooked during expansion transitions, we kinda have to be good at those "clever use of game mechanics" mechanics.
i used to main an ele shaman in bfa, im not surprised they won this, that class has so much utility, the bfa mythic + season where they had that affix that summoned a bunch of ghosts after 20% mob count, summon your empowered earth ele, tank the entire mob without problems, its why i got invited to so much +15s that season/
Havoc never felt like finished spec to me, since created (although I had fun playing as one so far, mostly anyway) but in 9.0.1 we basically got neutered. Also, some of changes are kinda messy imho - unbound chaos is certainly not working 100% correctly (like, sometimes demon from within spawn in awkward places, either beginning or middle of fel rush - not to mention it sometimes spawn on terrain pieces your toon rushes through); also, I'm kind of worried fel barrage will end up same way as nemesis did, being moved to talent row with demonic (which, I assume, still overperform other two choices [I just assume, I didn't really play havoc since 9.0 went live).
Paladins had a lot of attempts and tried to heal and outsustain the bosses in many of them but didn't managed to. While trying to survive they didn't do much pressure so they ended up trying to nuke it as good as possible With that said, them using a shield could maybe have helped
My biggest surprises here are Spriests being able to make it, I knew they could self sustain rather well, but I didn't think they'd last all the way, and the second surprise is Ret Palas, I was assuming that they were going to do just fine considering how great self sustain they usually have, it's surprising to see how fast they wiped. But of course Team Death Knight are the best ones, no surprises there.
id love to have seen the meter posts for healing and damage side by side after each new crew. would give you more of an idea of what's going on behind the scenes in terms of mechanics.
I love the idea here- my prediction is hunter or warlock does the best on account of having revivable (or resummonable) pets to tank Well i was right about the hunters... honestly when i saw the DKs go up i expected them to all just be stacking last surprise traits and nuke everything, but they got the job done either way. I did not think more than like one or two people would actually complete the challange.
It was great :) Feral can be good, at least for solo-play / open world and grinding. Which this challenge also mimics a bit. I just wish we had better survival in cat form - I find barkskin to be gimmicky and only 1 charge on survival instinct now.
@@Djuntas True our survivability is kinda poor but Heart of the Wild is a big survivability tool but it costs us our mighty bash CC sadly , hope they can mix up the talent tree a little bit :)
My predictions who could do it: Shadow priest Locks Hunter Post Edit: Surprised the locks didn't succeed Didn't expect dks to just melt them Druids affinity worked better than expected Kinda forgot primal elementals existed
Imagine if it was 3 high level priest bursting at 8k+😂 they also could put 2 priest with lifeswap at 7k and one with lifeforce on 12k+ burst I didnt expect rogues to handle it that well
paladins got some of the least selfsustain of all dps classes, and they don't have any damage reduction.. the sad fact is that a paladin deals basically no dmg if he tries to survive.
I really appreciate the higher lvl of gameplay. Would've been boring to just watch people get one-shot. It's clear that tactics and thought went into this, which is awesome.
This is quality content. I thoroughly enjoyed this from beginning to end. The concept is great and the execution was even better. I was definitely surprised by some of the comp successes. Going in I thought for sure the DK, Dru and Mages would succeed. Dont know why mages couldnt polymorph, but I thought they would easily succeed. Very surprised by the Hunters and Shamans. The Hunter pets performed better than most geared tanks lol and the Shamans look like they could 3 man some raids. Spriest is stupid lol, and very surprised about the Paladins. Maybe you could show them how its done lol. Still upset about my DH getting shafted, but we cant be on top forever. And the Warr and Rogues performed as I expected. Great job Rextroy!

The single greatest class learning experience in 12 years of playing WoW. Those rogues are madness. Pallies and warlocks didn't do as good as I thought (or they could have) clutch kill on the initial set of warriors, and the priests did way more with their toolkit than I would have thought. One shots are fun but this video made me pick a SL main.... or 3😅👍
I enjoyed watching your armour slowly turn red because you we're dead all the time, also I was fully expecting you to put Rextroy at the top right at the end because you would come in and somehow one shot all the bosses on your own.

Pretty cool! Would love to see some from the classes that didn't make it have a proper go, as feels there were more options (where was the mirror images for mages??). Might take a lot of practice though.
You have no idea how many newbies ignore the mechanic where you split them to actually survive. Thanks to the new pre-patch, Freehold is the staple dungeon most 10+ player experience, jesus we died so many times.
Priests and DK was lit Monks disappointed me most. A class with so much opportunities and they got destroyed like in a past Rextroy one shot combo video
@@rextroy3 I was actually surprised the druids went feral but instant heals from finishers probably helps a ton with the guardian affinity and one of them kiting in bear all the time. I main druid so its cool seeing people utilize the utility. Without Earth Ele it would be much harder for the shamans. Still those priests. I liked that you could tell that some of the players were just so much more skilled in some of the tests. Good video dude.
I wonder how well 3 Arms warriors would do using the crit slam spec I posted. Also, it feels like tanking trinkets shouldn't have been allowed. That Nzoth trinket would have helped any class in that encounter, not just the DKs.

Hunters, druids and spriests went about as expected. Surprised the warlocks didn't make it. And I was kind of hoping the monks would do a little better.
Mage were surprising tbh, didn't expect them to last this long. Also seems the ones that targeted Jolly (instead of Eudora) first with the burst had better results.
I didn't help the different teams much with strategy, but I would say going for Jolly as a melee is the best way to go, Raul will keep knocking you back and Eudora jumps around quite a lot.

paladins popped shields at the start of fight, some of them were not even attacked, after 1 fall rest just went all in xD

I guessed Pally and Druid would be able to complete it. Blown away that Priests made it through 🤯 and Paladin did not. And Shaman seemed way to OP 😁

The single greatest class learning experience in 12 years of playing WoW. Those rogues are madness. Pallies and warlocks didn't do as good as I thought (or they could have) clutch kill on the initial set of warriors, and the priests did way more with their toolkit than I would have thought. One shots are fun but this video made me pick a SL main.... or 3😅👍

I enjoyed watching your armour slowly turn red because you we're dead all the time, also I was fully expecting you to put Rextroy at the top right at the end because you would come in and somehow one shot all the bosses on your own.

Us the big brain warriors did very well, it was great fun. Hope to do more like that another time!

I was just about to leave a comment saying "I can't believe how well the Priests did", then I remembered how OP they were at the end of BFA, even after the squish. God, those were good times. I miss BFA Shadow. :(

Pretty cool! Would love to see some from the classes that didn't make it have a proper go, as feels there were more options (where was the mirror images for mages??). Might take a lot of practice though.

You have no idea how many newbies ignore the mechanic where you split them to actually survive.

Priests and DK was lit
Monks disappointed me most. A class with so much opportunities and they got destroyed like in a past Rextroy one shot combo video
The priests did really well there. By far the most impressive. Free for hunters, druid dk and shaman tbf
Yeah especially Shamans, their earth elementals were... too strong
@@rextroy3 I was actually surprised the druids went feral but instant heals from finishers probably helps a ton with the guardian affinity and one of them kiting in bear all the time. I main druid so its cool seeing people utilize the utility.
Without Earth Ele it would be much harder for the shamans.
Still those priests. I liked that you could tell that some of the players were just so much more skilled in some of the tests. Good video dude.

I wonder how well 3 Arms warriors would do using the crit slam spec I posted. Also, it feels like tanking trinkets shouldn't have been allowed. That Nzoth trinket would have helped any class in that encounter, not just the DKs.

Shadow priest always does so much better than I expect. I guess they are a lot more durable now than when I played in TBC haha.
Rextroy with the good content
Mage were surprising tbh, didn't expect them to last this long. Also seems the ones that targeted Jolly (instead of Eudora) first with the burst had better results.
I didn't help the different teams much with strategy, but I would say going for Jolly as a melee is the best way to go, Raul will keep knocking you back and Eudora jumps around quite a lot.
