- Hello Broducers!
In this video I showed you how to make your own Big Room kick with stacking other samples and processing them. I did not go into sound design for this. But I showed the essencials of layering bass drum.
So you need to use one main kick with a decent punch and body. After shaping it you gotta find a good bass layer on it. For this, I used some other big room kick and shaped it for my need. If you make your bass with Sylenth1, Serum, Spire etc that would be better. I'll probably make another video for creating your own basslines. But in this tutorial we'll stick to only layering the samples.
After you choose your kick and bass and if you think you lack of transient and attack you can always go and layer one more kick as your topkick. And finally I added a Hardstyle kick for the texture after processing and shaping it.
I hope you enjoy the video!

Good kick.
muchas gracias amigo. soy fan del bigroom..!
🔥🔥🔥
Nice job. That's what folks gotta learn. Also if you don't have LFO Tool you can just draw in the automation and play with the curves.
Thanks man. Also yes, i start to using Love Philter and its literally same as LFO Tool.
Hello Ozgun, Is good, create a bigroom kick without last kick that you added on your tutorial?
Finish👍🏻💯
please ozgun make tutorial about blasterjaxx style and hardwell style track
Ozgun can you please tell me where you got the samples from? Thanks!
Not aldım 👌
Elinize sağlık hocam
Teşekkürler!
So, Can you explain why we use last kick to create bigroom kick? I mean last kick like hardstyle
It's all taste man. Also it helps to fill mids.
Where do you usually get these samples and timbres?
Totally depends. Mostly Splice. Also always searching for new sounds and packs.
0:54 does anyone know how to shorten the sample like him? bc if I try t do that it just stretches the sample and changes the pitch
Top left of the song pattern (above track 1) are some boxes with 3 shapes above, sample, automation and pattern. If you chose sample you have the boxes z-cross and stretch, if you have enabled stretch you wil strecht the audio and so change the pitch, if you disable stretch you will cut the sample
@@mooymusic_1828 thank you so much!
Can u explain what is a tonal kick?
A kick sample with a bass tail on it. They call it sub kick too.
@@OzgunOfficial oh thanks man 🤝
What about mono?
You can make your sub mono from channel or even from master channel with some mid side eqing.
@@OzgunOfficial Thanks. I was wondering should I set mono for all bass layers (low, mid, high) or just for low freq.
I guess it's a matter of choice but also sub always should be mono?
And I don't know does fl studio's knob for mono is effective because in tutorials I see people use 3rd party plugins for mono.
@@dutchy2 You can make your sub totally mono. Or even you can cut sides till 150 hz on master as well. Mid and high basses doesn't need to be mono. Even Maddix mixes his high bass super stereo.
I'd make my mid bass a bit narrow than my leads to not make them clash tho.
@@OzgunOfficial Thank you for this useful info. I really appreciate it👍
Don't sidechain the tonal kick through any sidechain plugin from the mixer. Create the volume automation of it because when you change the rhythm of the kick you'll hear the kick part of the tonal kick popping out.
Yes this is only for constant kicks. If your kick have another pattern you can use volume automations or midi trigger from any vst.
