Thank you for this video. What is the best way to prevent someone from stalking you with one of these things, since I'm hearing that it can take 3 days to a couple of weeks before your iphone will notify you that there is a tag close by? Is there a setting that we should turn off once we get closer to home? Of course by the time our phone notifies us, it's already too late.
Thank you for the kind words 😊 it’s kinda tricky to prevent it, especially given how long it takes to detect. Apple needs to implement a quicker alerting option or stop people from making it silent - I heard people are now able to buy AirTags online without the speaker 😳
I bought an air tag to put on my dogs collar so I can find her when she escapes my yard. The problem I have encountered is her location is not shown in real time. There is a time delay which makes the air tag almost useless since I don’t care where she was, I want to know where she is. Any suggestions on how to show real time location?
I have the same issue to be honest. I am using it for "insurance" in case I actually lose the dog. But for me the lag isn't that long when I am near populated areas. It's only when I go to wider spaces/fields that the lag occurs which makes sense
Here’s what I’m thinking luckily AirTags where just made with Bluetooth but here’s the other thing if apple ever made AirTags2 it would be bluetooth and cellular data, I’ll let that sink in. That would make AirTags2 the device god of trackable things and more.
I realized that a person who is close to your tag they receive a notification pop up saying airtag detected and it allows them to disable the tag. My husband was walking our dogs and they have airbags on their collars. My concern is this defeats the Purpose of finding your dogs of it tells someone they have an airtag around! I’m so upset about this.
“…they have airbags on their collars.” Is that in case of auto accidents or accidents in general? I hope the airbags are lightweight. Poor dogs could be killed or injured when bags deploy!
I tried this with an AirTag, you don’t get the link to disable it util you place the tag against the back of your phone. It reads the NFC data and then links you to a site that gives you instructions on how to disable the tag. The instructions tell you how to remove the battery. The only way someone can disable your AirTag is if they physically possess it.

And therefore a faster localization (in practice the old nokia a-gps?) And then recovering the GPS position immediately also has a lower battery consumption?
To be perfectly honest, some of the settings I have no idea what they do... I just turned them off and see if anything breaks and if they don't break anything I'll keep them off. I believe apple or any company should be transparent and for example offer us to turn on all settings in exchange for discount on icloud storage or someth. We basically volunteerily share data, if girls share pics for money on onlyfans, data is the unisex of that and shouldnt be given away so freely everywhere just because it is used to develop things doesnt mean it should be free. Google making us watch ads for example which they offer us based on their collected data on us and in the end companies pay google to make us watch them. We use the platform for free, in exchange for data, but this needs to stop and we the user should see benefits if we decide to share data, benefits apart from the service being free
How naive; what makes you think that Apple would waste its time on a device that could be turned off. Try taking a picture of any number of questionable circumstances with an IOS updated device, and see just how quick your door bell rings. Then again, your door just may open without the use of its hinges lol. Life isn’t about what you want ... it’s all about what you weren’t expecting. You say you’re not worried, you’ve got nothing to hide, and then all of a sudden someone points a finger at you, and says “he doesn’t think the way we do”. I most likely won’t, but I’m pretty sure that you’ll live long enough to look in the mirror and notice that the smile you once had, has disappeared. Check if you don’t believe me, but every country in the world is either at war right now, or has recently, and is presently suffering from it.
So it occurs to me that Apple and Samsung devices, as well as devices running the Tile app, are collecting ALL Bluetooth IDs (not just from their tags) and the location of the device that saw them. This feels like an ultimate breech of our privacy.
They don’t collect any phone specific information. 😂 The tags send a signal, not receive. No phone data is transmitted, only the tracker info is. This has been tested several times.
@@TargetAcquisition 🤣🤣 Okie dokey... But if Apple can tell me where a tag is by using your phone, guess what... Apple has to track where your phone is in order to tell me where my tag is. So nice thinking, and I wish it were the case, but these companies are in fact collecting information on you.

@Frank Silvers I did mention this in the video and said that I don’t believe they will be doing that at an individual level, that would risk too much of their reputation and agree with you on that, they know better. Also see my Apple Glass commentary, same thing - Apple won’t make the same mistakes as Google. But the aggregated data about behaviours is gold for them and why wouldn’t they use it? We are giving it to them for free…
Thanks my gosh I had to explore myself what’s hell going on with my cell phone and my car my husband wouldn’t be supportive of me I’m more upsetting than everI knew I’m being followed with my own eyes with everything I see it’s not funny I’m going to get a help ASAP thank for this would save my life!
Thanks Pamela, yes these little things can be useful but I am finding it's just as easy for people to use it for wrongdoing...
It's like every time I get in my car, it knows where I want to go before I even put it in the Nav based on my behavior lol
According to my detailed calculations, if anything under Location Services is turned on, Apple has your location.
I would like to know if I can share the air tag with family so if I leave my bag 💼 behind I can share it with them 😅 so they can grab it for me.
Hmmm... that sounds like something I need too! 🤣
200th like ❤️
Amazing! Thank you 🙏🏽
Hey, does anybody know if I can "cut"/"sand off" a few mm of my apple air tag on each side (it so it fits in my bike)....?
only one way to find out! On a serious note, I did see something like this on reddit I think
Use tape
I’m guessing if a stalker wanted to use this all they would need is the targets phone
Not much details or coverage on Air Tag
Yes, it's a silent sneaky product! Very useful, but also very dangerous.
Nice set, nice lighting, nice effects, but you lost me with the flat Earth thing. 😮
Awesome one 🔥
Any ps5 unboxing n gameplays

Those intro b rolls are soo dope man 😍
Thank you so much 👊🏽 it was a bit rushed and nearly couldn’t manage to upload but wanted to get something out this weekend 😊
What’s the point of I can’t track my car or purse with it ?
Sorry not sure what you mean.. you could track anything with it...
Senna!
Nah I hate when I talk about something and then I get ad about it
Yes it can feel creepy
Alright, now we need to get the band back together. I can cover the drums…when’s the live stream?
hahaha 🤣 will get the dry ice ready
@@AlexGTech no need. I’ve got a fog machine. We’re all set. 🥁🎸🎤
Haha lessgo!! 🤘🏽🤪🤘🏽
If you really think the earth is flat, then I just wasted 10 minutes listening to you.
It was just a bit of sarcasm there
I believe apple or any company should be transparent and for example offer us to turn on all settings in exchange for discount on icloud storage or someth.
So we cannot disable it so the thief doesn’t know they’re being tracked???? Sort of defeats the WHOLE purpose! Wow
U can by taking out the alarm - lots of vid on that
there are chineese simular products that works the same . back as 2019
Damn! Virtually impossible to stay off the grid these days
We’re just getting tracked everyday by everything
Me never brought one
Very useful but yeah, Apple now know quite a bit about its users movements…
Airtags need to be able to be used with Android
Agreed, massive security risk otherwise
The Apple website support page for AirTags explains how to deal with AirTags using Android devices.
Alex, Do you really think the Earth is flat?
but of course 🥹
What if employers use this to track??????? Uggghh
That would be against employement law, but I hear your concern… it’s quite scary the amount of data this is collecting about our movements
I subscribed for flat earth
Yah bless you bro!
haha thanks man!
these turned out to be insanely popular. all dat data mmmmmm
yeah, that price is surely luring a lot of customers in!
I know you weren’t joking about the earth being flat.
I see your point...it seems privacy (true privacy) is a thing of the past
So it occurs to me that Apple and Samsung devices, as well as devices running the Tile app, are collecting ALL Bluetooth IDs (not just from their tags) and the location of the device that saw them. This feels like an ultimate breech of our privacy.
Wow, yes that’s even worst than I thought!
If you don’t like it, then disable your Bluetooth 🤷🏻♂️
@@ZiFrenZie Wow... I just wonder why nobody else thought of that 🤔
They don’t collect any phone specific information. 😂
The tags send a signal, not receive.
*Very weak info here. And even less about the clickbait “AirTag.”*
Thanks Alex
Turned off the options that you mentioned in this video. 👍🏻
Hey Cheekster!
Yes, there’s way too much information being sent to companies that we don’t really need to 👊🏽 have a lovely weekend! Very rainy here ☔️ 😞

@@AlexGTech - Yeah, I got wet on my daily 10k earlier.
It’s no big deal. We’re gonna be tracked by someone or something anyway
That’s true, kinda impossible to remain completely untracked these days 😊
Ok Sheeple
not sure what you said i can barely understand you sorry
Hello there. Try using subtitles. Also, have you tried punctuation and capital letters at the start of a sentence? It's the sort of thing that helps with making oneself clearer. 😂
