That barber was also involved in the scam 🤣, that scammer guy is his daily Customer he brings tourist like you into their shop and scammers gets commisoon or say reward. Barber was well aware that scammer had brought you as a bait in his shop and in return shopkeeper had to pay the scammer through your money. If he hadn't had a haircut now he would probably have a haircut or massage later from that shop. Also I have seen scam going on purchasing thanka painting, scammers scam you compelling you to buy painting and in return the shopkeeper gives scammer the commisoon. If barber was honest he would aware u in beginning , but no he didn't do that he went with the intention to scam u , remember aiding and abetting to fraud someone is crime so barber was aware what was going on he could have stopped or at least aware you but he didn't, the girl with you I don't know what she was doing she had to say outright that you wouldnt pay for his haircut next time shopkeeper would charge that scammer if he came again to that shop. Hey everyone! Regarding the Nepali Barber scam video, I just want to say a few things for those who didn't know. The barber said he was from "Nepal Terai Medhesh" (Not Indian) his words, not mine. Also, I want to note my friend who was helping me film told the barber he will get a lot of views from this video and many people will come to his shop, so he is still very silly to scam me on camera. The original intent of the video was to show the Nepali ( Not Indian) scammer who got a free haircut. I also want to note that, that same Nepali scammer also took my good friends @EoinandAisling to his art shop to try and sell them some fake art for a crazy price! There are scammers in every country even AUSTRALIA! I love Nepal, hence why I am back here again, and I love this country so much I have been working on project here helping the homeless. So please don't get the wrong Idea of me making the scammer video, it happened when I was filming a video, so of course I will still post it to youtube to educate other tourists.

It's 200 for haircut and 150 for shaving but he charged high for that too. He charged 300 for hair cut and 200 for shavings. And plus 700 for facial and masg. That costs hom only 1200 but he still charged 1500 and 300 for the scanners.
Lots of Indians come to Nepal for job. You will find Indian working in clothing shop, barbers , handicrafts and you can easily recognize them. Be very careful when dealing with Indians working in Nepal as well bcuz you might get scammed by them here in Nepal also.

You will get that Massage for free if u cut hair and do facial in most of the places in nepal. Hair cut normally cost around 100-150 and facial will cost around 150-200. This is outrageous and overcharged.

Hello Jack toor. I'm from Nepal too. I'm really sorry for this scammer. But i wanna let you know that barber is also a scammer and he charged you 3x-4x then the official price. These are the current charges in Nepal (2023). Haircut Rs.200(MAX), Facial Rs.100, Shaving Rs.50-80, & Massage Rs.150. Total price is gonna be Rs.600-700 Maximum. Please be careful by next time any where ask them for the price menu. And I'm still wondering why that Nepali lady was okay for any price maybe she doesn't have an idea about these prices.

Most of the barber working in Nepal are from Indian states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh ! They are some barbers from southern part of Nepal ( known as Terai/ Madhesi) , they are more decent and hardworking ! I am not saying because I am Nepali, but Bihari are seen with suspicious eyes in their own country ! Recently, Gujrat ( Indian state) blocked its railway link to Bihar to avoid Bihari comming to their place ! Note : I am not trying to be sterotype, but it is often the case most of the times !
I understand that you might feel its a big on your pocket but considering the barber effort and the sets of extra care the fellow put in, you cant caption the title of the video as getting scammed!! Most of the barbers are from india and when asked, they get away saying that I am from madesh, nepal. Nepali madesi barbers are may be 10 to 15% only. You call them scammers but the fault lies in you for not asking the rate before hair cut. Another mistake which you have done is not complaining to police or locals.
Don't trust every one as they might be just a scammer.. sometimes kindness can be hard anyway if I were you I just wouldn't pay his money...and normally hair cut cost u Rs 150 but I am not 💯 sure about it but usually it is 150 so next time u tell them that...might work...anyway your haircut looks amazing as u have a good hair and good face cut anything suits u well..stay safe and have fun Jack✌️

It's 200 for haircut and 150 for shaving but he charged high for that too. He charged 300 for hair cut and 200 for shavings. And plus 700 for facial and masg. That costs hom only 1200 but he still charged 1500 and 300 for the scanners.

Lots of Indians come to Nepal for job. You will find Indian working in clothing shop, barbers , handicrafts and you can easily recognize them. Be very careful when dealing with Indians working in Nepal as well bcuz you might get scammed by them here in Nepal also.

You will get that Massage for free if u cut hair and do facial in most of the places in nepal. Hair cut normally cost around 100-150 and facial will cost around 150-200. This is outrageous and overcharged.

Hello Jack toor. I'm from Nepal too. I'm really sorry for this scammer. But i wanna let you know that barber is also a scammer and he charged you 3x-4x then the official price. These are the current charges in Nepal (2023). Haircut Rs.200(MAX), Facial Rs.100, Shaving Rs.50-80, & Massage Rs.150. Total price is gonna be Rs.600-700 Maximum.
Please be careful by next time any where ask them for the price menu.
And I'm still wondering why that Nepali lady was okay for any price maybe she doesn't have an idea about these prices.

They are some barbers from southern part of Nepal ( known as Terai/ Madhesi) , they are more decent and hardworking !

Most of the barbers are from india and when asked, they get away saying that I am from madesh, nepal. Nepali madesi barbers are may be 10 to 15% only. You call them scammers but the fault lies in you for not asking the rate before hair cut. Another mistake which you have done is not complaining to police or locals.
