I just started playing azur lane a few weeks ago and damm, seems like i wont finish the event in time. Any veteran can give me some tips to level up faster
i'd advice you to not try the hard mode & just stay in normal but since i have no idea how your account/fleets are doing i can't you any detailed adivce.
If you want stick this game for long time. Don't care too much to event at this stage, because they will rerun about 1 year later. Focus grind your ship for unlock harder daily mission for more coin. Cube is easy to get for long grind, after 1 year play you don't care too much about cube, because daily give you enough to pull event, expect rng god forsaken you
"a few weeks ago" doesn't tell us much as we don't know how much you played.
Normally you level the most simply by playing the campaign stages but right now you probably want to save the oil for the event. Just play the easy stages, see how far you can get, and get as many points as you can.
However, for the most part what you want from the event is roll the gacha. To get Kronshtadt (or any other of the new girls) you'll need cubes not levels. If you have some cubes saved up, you should be fine.
For everything else, just wait for about a year and do the rerun. It's not like you will never again be able to play the event.
