Hey dude I know you will never see this but man I'm feeling this pain this morning my husband is off to work I can see all my empty shoots at the foot of my bed just last week I had some severe medical emergencies and the pain is fucking hard to get though without my drinks... My body just wants more and it's probably not helping me in the long run. This song hits harder when you relate man you are a legend and such and inspiration. ❤️🩹

I'm proud of you bro! I just stopped taking suboxone after many years of daily use. Although I reduced my dose to only 1/16th of a strip per day and only took that amount for months, I still had a seizure but this "2nd" time I didn't go back to taking it like the 1st out of fear. The Lord has not given me a Spirit of Fear, but a Spirit of Love, a Spirit of Power and a Spirit of a Sound Mind

This explained how I felt when I picked up a drink at 15. I drank every night to the point of blacking out and then went to school hungover. This November I will be 7 years sober. It is still a battle every day.

I'm 32 an been drinking more than half my life. I've been saying for like 2 yrs I will go 30 days without but still haven't. Made it almost 2 weeks not long ago. It's hard as hell, but not impossible.

After about 15 years of being a functioning Alcoholic after the death of both my parents to lung cancer, I'm 5 months sober. I'm almost 40 now so I had to decide, drink myself to death or sober up and deal with my demons. I feel really good and saved a couple of thousand dollars that would have ended up down the drain.

I felt this so hard and it took me back, I just want to say no matter what you're facing it is possible to quit, took me several attempts and had multiple slips, but I am sober for one year and 5 months. Gotta always be stronger than your strongest excuse. It is possible to quit alcohol it is possible to quit drugs it is possible to quit smoking. Its never too late even if you have no one to support you, you still have yourself cause at the end of the day you are all you need

Proud of you. Keep up the incredible work. I myself have had no support for quitting smoking and drinking and the drugs. It is hard but I almost left this world Easter Morning and took a good look at myself while in the hospital and realized I needed to change my actions and get rid of my bad addictions. You can do it. Not had a drink since my marriage exploded in my face. 6 weeks now. The drinking wasn't the problem, well... it was A PROBLEM, in a sea of other issues. If only I hadn't been so consumed by the need to chase away all my losses and the sorrows a bottle at a time , I would have seen the biggest loss was about to walk out the door.
Without a drink to hold me up, I feel so much weaker , yet I know , if ever I have a chance to fix the broken in me, I can't do it looking at the world through the bottom of a bottle .

Was not just the cigarettes but figured they weren't helping. Was hospitalized and almost left this world. Quit drinking cold turkey 19 yrs ago and have never looked back. Was a severe alcoholic. Ive been struggling with alot of problems and even after beeing so many years away from Them IT still effects me on dailybase. Everwhere i go everything i do every job i had people always say that im still not good enough and i i wont make IT or be able to do IT. Songs like this shows in not Alone. even i almost always feel Alone even when im not Alone. It feels like people dont wanna listen to what really did happen and how we feel

been there before, used to be a heavy drinker going through atleast 3-4 bottles of whiskey/bourbon a day but one day I finally had enough and thought to myself something needs to change before its too late, took every bottle I had in the house and poured it down the drain, been almost 18 years now and haven't touched a drop since, alot happier and healthier for it.

Fuck man I’m 34 was an alcoholic drinking about 3 pints of vodka a day since I was 17. October will be 3 years sober but this song is as they say “the story of my life”. For all you out there struggling it is possible and when it’s right it’s not that hard or at least it wasn’t for me this time. Took me moving 2500 miles and rebuilding my life but it has been worth it… so far.
