Those moveable shoulder pads move to reveal shoulder cannons - those tiny holes on his shoulders. I've got the rerelease of this figure from the 2008 legacy collection where they fixed his main armor color making it more blue or gun metal gray. I've missed that cool 3D display but got an awesome extended universe coin instead. Keep the good work, love your reviews!
Great video! I got this when it came out, and thought it was pretty darn cool. Then the Build-A-Droid version came out in The Legacy Collection, and it was even bigger and super-articulated, but, MAN, the porportions looked terrible and it was a pain to try to stand up; the legs were too skinny, the feet were tiny, and the joints weren't as tight as they should've been. It says something that this figure from 1998 looks better than the bigger, more-articulated one from 2009.
Great review! I hated this figure when it came out and I think others did too. I remember seeing two or three pegs full of these at the store. No one was buying them. I'm ok with not having picked it up. A friend, who was a "completeist" picked up 3; 2 to open 1 for display.
I was going to get this one just before the black series began. Then I fell in ❤️ with the scale and have been wondering how long it would take Hasbro to do this one in the black series. Fu@$_-+++_$-(-&&__ck Hasbro 😂!
Expanded universe items were the best, do more plz
I remember him from the original star wars battlefront back in the 2000s
You have a better memory than me then 😀
Different type of dark trooper. Battlefront had the Phase Zero dark trooper, this figure was based on the Phase III.

Glad to hear things are improving for you. Another excellent review. Fascinating figure really enhanced by the pop-out-play scene.

Do you plan to do the Millennium Minted Coin collection at some point?
It wasn’t high on my list to do but I can work some in.
Need to get him… 🤔
how's your arm?
It’s coming along. Just working on my range of motion. Thanks for asking.

I liked the Dark Empire figures, but this thing is appalling. It irritates me just looking at it.
