What animal would you be?
A tiger or fox
Either a snake 🐍 or a fox 🦊
lol definitely a sloth
Frog
Sloth or a koala
“I love you, but I shouldn’t have married you” definitely stuck with me when I watched this movie when I was little.
And the wolf scene stuck with me
the scene where mr and mrs fox are stuck in the trap stuck with me
My daughter is actually dressing as Ash for Halloween! with the white outfit, tube socks and a towel cape! This is one of her favorite movies and she used to drive us crazy doing the little whistle and click 😆
that's badass!!
you sir/maddam, have been doing it right haha
That is awesome! I hope she and you have an amazing Halloween 🎃
My favorite line has always been:
"Why did you take your shoes off?"
"So I don't break your nose when I kick it."
Also, the wolf is a cute little way of laying to rest his “wild animal” side- a narrative device that doubles as a nifty sight gag.
This is one of my favorite movies!! Top 10 for sure! What's interesting is how the recorded George Clooney's lines. They went outside, and if Mr Fox is jumping over something, George jumped over/off something they found outside so that he sounded out if breath more naturally. They truly thought and performed out if the box and it paid off.
Oh wow, that is fascinating!
This movie has more energy than any other movies directed by Wes Anderson
"Grand Budapest" close 2nd.
But I see what you're saying, this movie is very driven, like a wild animal 🦊
that's because its a Roald Dahl story.
‘I’m going to lose my temper now’ ‘When?’ ‘Right now!’ ‘Well… when?’ BAHA, the dynamic between these two reminds me of a couple I know so much (minus the scratching) 😂 . The whistling Western-y(?) music in this one stands out to me too. Always fun and charming revisiting this one, and now I have an excuse to say… plz react to Matilda at some point! It’s based on another Roald Dahl book (which you probs know). It’s a classic and another gem IMO. As far as epic child characters go Matilda has gotta be top 5 and Miss Trunchbull is hysterical (and horrifying!) in that movie 👌
I'm so glad you reacted to this movie! This is one of my all time favorites for forever. It's so simple yet so profound in the same breath and strange. It may or have exposed my father issues, can't hear George Clooney the same anymore.😂 I'm also just a huge fan or the writing and the COLOR.
I belive the scene with the gang looking off and seeing the wolf in the distance is a visualization of Mr. Fox's plight. The whole movie he struggles with who he is in that moment, and what he used to be in his "prime". Like a mid life crisis. The scene with the wolf has the wolf placed on all fours, wild, while the rest are more sophisticated or teter in between wild and sophisticated (like the argument with his lawyer). The wolf is in the white, cold winter and distant. Frozen over and barren, a much harsher environment. While the most of the film is in an orange and brown hue of autumn, the in-between, resembling Mr. Fox's age and midlife crisis. The wolf in the cold, resembilng a hard desolate future for Mr. Fox or even death as he grows older.
This is such a wonderful film. The scene near the end, where Mr. Fox & company interact with the wolf is one of my all-time favorite movie scenes. It’s so good.
Wes Anderson is a national treasure!
Mr Fox- “Who am I Kylie?”
Kylie- “What? Who How? What Now?”
This is my whole family’s favorite movie ever. There are so many amazing lines in it. Since this came out we’ve all added at least a line or two in all of our every day speech.
Not only is this movie hysterical in so many ways but it’s also extremely smart and thought provoking.
Trust me, if you live somewhere like CA or CO etc, “relax” and watch it again. Great video!
6:55
*Morgan Freeman:* "It was at this moment, he knew: he *CUSSED* up."
I’d love to see more of these types of films, they’re great
make sure to watch Isle of Dogs
Fun fact, apple cider IS naturally alcoholic! The US is actually kind of unusual for having nonalcoholic cider, thanks to anti alcohol movements.
He wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, The Witches, James and the Giant Peach, The Twits, Esio Trot and a fair few I’m probably forgetting. I loved his books as a kid and I’m gonna reread James and the Giant Peach at some point. The movie adaptation of it was really good and I definitely recommend you watch it if you haven’t already and the books of course. (They’re shorter books than I normally read)
In my opinion one of my favorite Wes Anderson films ever made
The scenery and setting is amazing
The dialogue is funny but can be heartfelt.
And overall a film I can never get tired of watching.
Fun Fact:(for those that don't know.)Wes Anderson voices the realtor.
They based the rat on Wilem Dafoe's movements and almost likeness.
But I adore this movie.
This movie is where I got the idea for how to censor bad language in my D&D campaign (we have a twelve year old in the party). It’s actually more fun that way, believe it or not.
Stop Motion and Wes Anderson fit like bread an butter; free reign to embrace his themes of attention to detail, bright color palettes, symmetry and blunt snap movement. Isle of Dogs is definitely worth the watch, I liked Moonrise Kingdom and Grand Budapest Hotel too (neither are stop-motion though)
Never the fan of Rushmore though, but it may be someone else's cup of tea
Roald Dahl wrote 'weird stuff' indeed; Mathilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the Twits, the Witches, the BFG, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, James and the Giant Peach, but also wrote the script for Bond movie You Only Live Twice (himself having been an undercover spy to infiltrate the US to find ways of convincing 'America First' people to support the effort, Bond writer Ian Fleming was also among the writers enlisted to be spies)
Roald Dahl is huge he's written heaps of famous books including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and the Witches
And now you definitely need to do a reaction to Isle of Dogs. Another Wes Anderson stop motion movie with an all star cast. And I'm pretty sure no one else has done a full length reaction to it so you guys would be the first. 😀👌👍
This is my comfort autumn movie 🧡 I'm happy that it made you and NTB laugh a lot. The score is awesome as well.
The saddest thing was when the Ardman studio burnt down and they lost a lot of their original models 😢
yea this cast is hella stacked with George Clooney (Mr Fox), Meryl Streep (Mrs Fox), Jason Schwartzman (Ash), Willem Dafoe (Rat), Bill Murray (Badger), Owen Willson (Coach Skip), and Michael Gambon (Bean) just to name a few!
and Wes Anderson himself as the realtor black stoat?
Dudes, y'all gotta watch Isle of Dogs too! It's so good and has one of the most satisfying scenes you'll ever see in an animated film.
Also, even though it's live action, absolutely watch The Grand Budapest Hotel. It's Wes Anderson at his absolute best!
definitely a comfort movie of mine!! the visuals and the music combine into this beautiful piece of artwork that just entranced me from the get go
This is a childhood favorite of mine and I’m so glad you guys reacted to this!
I love this type of movies I wish they would make a bit more stop motion animation
I adore this film, it’s one of my favorites, thank you guys so much for reacting to this, it’s so fun and very exciting!
Loved this story when I was a kid. I never even dreamed that it would become any kind of movie.
I love this movie. It's so quirky and defiantly in the top wes Anderson movies
I love the cuss out of this movie
you guys have to watch The Royal Tennenbaums!! another weird Wes Anderson masterpiece
The song that plays during the scene where ash and Kristofferson swim in the pool is the love song from disney's robin hood 😊
I know this movie was Wes Anderson, but you should watch James and the Giant Peach since it was Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton. 1996 film that I first saw when I was like 11 or so in school. Just because it has a good story and also the type of animation that Selick does is always wonderful.
So wackbat is almost definitely a dis on cricket in England. I knew someone who learned to play and tried to explain it to me and that’s what they’re making fun of
You guys should definitely react to Isle of Dogs. It’s a great movie. 🙌🏼
You guys need to watch Kubo and the Two Strings 😩
Fun fact: The flooding of the flint mine is the only CGI in the whole movie. Easily among some of the most underrated movies of the 2000s.
Roald Dahl, author of James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the BFG, Matilda, and this one, Fantastic Mr. Fox.
WOW I never thought you'd react to this, yeah this one is quirky and weird, but also somehow wholesome. I played Mr. Badger in my high school's Kids Show, which was for the middle and elementary kids. It was a little weird, but pretty fun.
Roald Dahl into films BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Matilda, The Witches, James and the Giant Peach, Gremlins.
This movie was on my list for some time, but when I saw that you guys reacted I had to go see the movie first. Amazing.
You guys need to watch Isle of Dogs next. Wes Anderson also directed that one
I remember reading this book in 4th grade, and I loved the movie version, too. The original book ended with the dinner party and the movie added more. The supermarket ending was originally planned for the book, but changed to the Farmers’ places to make Mr. Fox seem less like a criminal
My favorite part is..
Bean: what are you singing Petey?
Petey: just making it up as I go along!
Bean: that's just weak song writing, YOU WROTE A BAD SONG PETEY!
also Bean: flicks cigarette at him
I think it's Michael Gambon as the top Farmer who has the Cider
He is Dumbledore in the future HP movies and the mayor in Sleepy Hollow
You Tube shows How they made Fantastic Fox-it is Cool.
this is one of my favorite movies!!!! it means sooo much to me to see your reaction, i loved how much you appreciated the animation and humor
This movie definitely stands on its own, it’s so quirky and yet so entertaining. 😆 👏
I'm a huge Wes Anderson fan so I would love for you to get into all of Wes Anderson's films not just to stop motion.. what a treat thanks guys😁
thumbs up on Isle of Dogs, another stop motion treat.
*I love this movie so much!!!* 🦊

My favorite stop motion movie ever, I can't wait!
I love this movie and I love Isle of dogs too! You guys should definitely watch it!
The voice of the Angry Man who own the Cider was Dumbledore from Harry Potter
This is basically a Wes Anderson movie for kids. And I love it.
Y’all will LOVE isle of dogs. So strange and humorous 😂
Please watch Isles of Dogs. Wes Anderson always creates magic
My dad used read the book to me and my brother all the time to put us to sleep. We loved it, and we'd have him re-read it all the time. It's definitely a book I'll read to my kids when I (hopefully) become a father.
Now watch Darjeeling Limited! It’s Wes’s most underrated movie!
^^ I love this stop-motion film.
(But I hate those old human guys...)
Funny that this movie is all stop motion, and the only cgi moment was that wash away towards the sewer scene, but all this is by one scene after another, and I respect the team that done this whole movie
I have this on Blu Ray from the Criterion Collection!
I just watched this movie for the first time and i gotta say that is my favorite movie i watch this hero, its so good
Yes Isle of Dogs is good too!!
Me and my sister watched this in the movies when it came out and it started our Wes Anderson obsession and I actually named my first computer Kristofferson
Should do boxtrolls next the after credit scene is 4th wall breaking
My favorite movie of all time and favorite director ❤❤❤❤
You should totally watch Isle of Dogs , Wes Anderson's style shines so well in stop motion animation
More great voice-actors as well 👍
My favorite Wes Anderson film. My favorite animated movie.
Roald Dahl wrote "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "Matilda"
Another good movie to react to is isle of dogs which is Wes Anderson too!
You guys should watch “Isle of Dogs” also by Wes Anderson.
Another great stop motion movie with animals
This is one of my all time favorite movies! Infinitely rewatchable
Isle of Dogs is another great Wes Anderson stop motion animation movie
See I live in Manchester UK, where they made this movie and I think Isle of dogs too. Then to Lancashire way "Preston" you have where Wallis and gromit is made. Alot of North England is where stop motion is made. Which I only found about afew months ago.
The way he made the actors do there lines is honestly hilarious
16:45 That's like me when I rage on a video game
2009 is the year of release.
Hey guys can I ask you a question?, it is about the line where willem de foe said "y'all are trespassing illegally" is there a legal way for tresspassing?.
So crazy that you just uploaded this! I’m going to be Ash for Halloween.
When someone says somthing like this is weird I just think how normal you must be to say that.
Yaaassss finally the day has come!! 🙏💕 I love this movie * w*)~♡
You guys should watch Once Upon A Time!
This is a very great movie, it's very amazing.
Love it thanks for the reaction!
I haven't seen this in years, can't wait to watch with y'all
The voyage of Sinbad
I’m not a huge fan of stop motion but Oh man this movie IS SO QUIRKY AND WITTY. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!! I first saw it on vacation at a hotel 😂 Please react to isle of dogs. I think that’s what it called?
I've always loved this classic 🤩
Ash is. We do not question it.
Can you guys please continue the Chucky series? Next up is Bride of Chucky!
literally my favorite movie!! was ash for Halloween a couple years back
Sometimes you gotta let the movie play out for once
I saw this on a local theater and it was amazing 🤩
