Congratulations on your new arrival! As a father of 3 I understand how life changes! I’m sad to see your Gladiator get dismantled piece-by-piece But totally understand new priorities. Once again, congratulations are definitely in order!!
Which model and trim was that white Mazda with you? Did it have a lift? Awd or 4wd? Ground clearance? Could my non lifted 2022 Highlander xle make it up there with all terrain tires and Mthod Wheels?
So you upgrading to something bigger like and AT habitat or doing an off-road trailer. I guess if you did a trailer you wouldn't have to ditch the GFC so I'm guessing it's going to be something like an At habitat, or and alucab or one of the bigger campers.
I wish I could say that I did. I saw some IG folks post it and went sleuthing in onX and Google Earth to find that open spot after knowing a general area in relation to the backside of Mount Timp.
I’ve had to stop myself from watching most overlanding content because it’s become more about constantly changing gear than the journey. When I last watched one of your videos you had just switched to the Gladiator and the GFC. I’m sure you’ve had a bunch of videos since then but already replacing an item that most people would think of as “end game” makes me kinda sad for the state of the overlanding social scene.
I had a baby. That’s the ultimate gear change. Think what you will, but my needs changed. If everybody is adding a baby, the “state of overlanding” has definitely changed.
@@JustinBMcBridecongrats on the baby. I’m not one to tell others how to live their life, spend their money, or run their business. I don’t point to you as someone hurting overlanding, I merely suggest that the constant change is sadly the nature of the overlanding social media business and you have to do it to be competitive. Changing your setup for a family expansion makes total sense, but that is not what is happening with most overlanding influencers when they change their rig and gear every 6-12 months.
I thought most videos are just B roll of them making their coffee, which they all have their own brand now, or cooking in the skottle. It’s like a cooking/informercial for coffee now is all.
What's with the title? Am I missing something?
Literally my last trip with the GFC… we’ll talk about it more in an upcoming video.

Looks like a great spot. I loved the intro too!
Stars time lapse shot was awesome!

So whats up about the GFC
Right lol
I assumed the product wasn’t good or something for overlanding
Literally my last trip with the GFC… I didn’t know it at the time of filming this. But we’ll get into the details in an upcoming video.
What were the lights thru the time lapse…hikers going up Timp? Was that Timp!? Probably one of the coolest time lapse I have seen in a while! 👌
Yes
Some of the lower lights may have been traffic. Or combination of traffic and hikers. Upper half appears to be hikers. Sooo cool

Did you just find these spot on OnX? and can I ask when you went there?
