Just want to say thanks for sharing the gospel with us , people tend to forget how many problems the 5.7v8 had in the first 2years of production back in 2007-2009 to many problems to list but if you look it up it was not good , Toyota is good about ironing out issues in their trucks and I’m pretty sure this new gen tundra will be even better than the previous, Toyota already superseded the falling parts in the motor as of Jan of 2024 , I’m confident there will be no issues with the motor moving forward , I just purchased a 2024 tundra limited crew max 4x4 as of 8/8/24 and I can tell you I don’t miss the v8 at all , this new tundra has so much torque in the low rpm and it pulls hard . My avg mpg around town is 19 and getting up to 22 mpg on highway running 70 mph , thus far im very impressed with the new tundra .
@@Jay-me7gw It seems to be exacerbated by acidic engine coolant damaging the head gasket. Change your coolant at half the recommended intervals. Less moving parts is always better
The exhaust note sounds terrible in my opinion. The TRD exhaust on the 5.7 or almost any aftermarket muffler sounds heavenly. Kinda like the new Raptor, I don't care how much power it makes it sounds embarrassing. While the TRX sounds like a beast. Toyota builds a great V8
@@harrysetatestiesJR the number one reason I buy a truck is exhaust note. I wanna put a nice loud exhaust in my V8 that I use to tow trailers up mountains 🙄
Love the verse and the message! To Him be all the Glory! I'm in the market for a Tundra currently. I really wish Toyota had made the crew max cab with a 6.5 foot bed on the previous generation. I have a decent sized family and I would like the interior space but I think we might have to settle for the double cab version. This will be my "forever" truck and I just can't trust something with twin turbos and all that fancy stuff. I just want a good V8 and a sufficient bed.
5.7 Motor is better than that diesel motor . Toyota does not make a good diesel engine. 5.7 Motor you could put a half of million miles on that Motor. Keep the 5.7 And get rid of that diesel motor
Toyota makes many good diesel engines ..one to be sure about is the LanCruiser 300 turbo diesel 4.2L i believe i saw so many in the deserts in Africa/Afghanistan /and other parts of city African towns used by Govt official and the United Nations..they just dont have it in the USA

And it looks like the UR V8’s are having head gasket issues now
All the Toyota v6 TT are having problems, the old used v8 models are going for more money used than the new style v6TT, with good reason I might add.

Laaa e laaha ill lal laaw ( There's no God but the God) blessing for you
Neither. 1st Gen 4.7 is the best Tundra there will ever be
Had both, Older is better.
skip that turbo until they figure out how to build a V6 twin turbo .
turbos are trash and don't last all for 1MPG better and turbos only last to 150k miles give or take. Replacing two will be costly.

It’s not a diesel 😂
