Dale & Karyn. Just wanted to tell you since you were here, I've added 34 lighted trees & strings of lights. Total of 734 new lights to add to your total. Merry Christmas. Terry
I wonder how all those buildings are lit. What is the circuit system. Does he have some sort of buss that runs 120v around the whole room? Would be interesting to see underneath. 50,000 lights @ even 50ma each would be about 2500 amps. If he had 20a circuits he would need about 125 of them.
It’s all LED. The buildings are pre wired with 5v LEDs. Each has its own 115 volt power supply. 500 power supplies under the layout!! And the strings of lights are also LED. Another 100 strings of lights. 100 more power supplies.
Truly one of the greatest inventions of all time - LEDs. Especially to us Model Railroaders. I have a gazillion track lights above my layout and only pull 2a for all of them! Thanks.@@ToyManTelevision

So tell her. It’s difficult to deal with this situation when it happens. And it ALWAYS HAPPENS. So talk it over. Have a plan. Be open and honest and transparent. In these videos we try to open the conversation. Go fer it!
