It reminds me that when I was 20, I performed this piece at my music school and I felt that I wasn't ready yet. But somehow I managed to play it all, without missing notes and, in the end, some colleagues that later became professional musicians came onto the stage to congratulate me. A great achievement for my short musical history, I suppose - but soon after that I quit playing clarinet. It's a sad story.
I played perhaps the first two or three variations to that early last year, I cannot for the life of me remember what it was for or what my music looked like! But those notes are ingrained in my memory, and I heard nothing wrong with them. Oh, and on the breath support thing, just the other day I performed in an eisteddfod and my crit said that my posture was hunched which is bad for airflow, I think you did something similar. PS. Has anyone ever told you that you look like Robert Pattinson?
Hello Clovis, for now I have not seen others and i hope to see them as soon as possible. I hope that in the future do not laugh at most of your mistakes, it is an offense to the composer and for the one who sees. A musician which i am ( 1ST clarinet in Italian Navy Band ) i would never expect to laugh at my mistake, it should be my reputation. I hope that the translator translates so well what I wrote. I wish you luck.
Hello Clovis Pain ,if in spite of everything the crasch that does not put also to laugh i wouldn't have written anything. But if the ride is also unacceptable. It is clear that nobody is perfect and we can all get it wrong but there is a limit to everything not found ? Sorry for the english but he did ImTranslator, i hope you understand.
Hello Clovis, I dunno what's wrong with these people who say that it is an "insult to the composer", but I think that what you played here was of quite a good standard. Technically you were sound enough, there were simply a couple of dexterity/finger flexibility issues, and you needed a little more breath support to make those high notes really clean. I mean, I can't talk, I've been playing clarinet for 6 years and I probably am at a similar standard to yourself. Keep up the good work :)

@VFAClo the beginning is ok but then the sound gets worse and on the fast parts you are missing notes at 4:27 and on

If i understood well, you said that the fact he laughed was bad ?
What do you mean by "having courage to put this video" ?

Sorry but i don't speak italian. Can you explain what you mean in english please? :)
All the notes sound equally squeeky in the first half of the piece. The 2d half sounds much better.
Hello Clovis,Exact, then the performance wasn't good.
People has their own process, stop being rude. I bet u played like this once too
