Most entertaining game of the evening, thus far, back and fourth battle. New York Islanders still need significant improvement, I still cannot picture them making it past the first round of the playoffs, if they even make a wildcard spot. They seem slow against the best teams in the NHL, yes they look good against a very old Pittsburgh Penguins team. How well do the Islanders play against teams like Winnipeg, or Edmonton, who're of similar age. The balance between a great goaltender(s), solid defense-core, toughness, and skill -- has and will continue to be an extremely hard thing to achieve in this league for any team.
@Thomas_667 Malkin skated right past him and blocked his stick half a second earlier, and that whole situation happened. Stuff like that happens. But you call him out generically as trash and then go on to say you don't watch Pens games much 🙄
