She started splashing water at me so I did the same and we flipped over in the middle of ocean. No one was around and it was the hardest thing trying to flip the Kayak back over. Took us like 15 minutes. We finally did it. Super Scary experience. Just sharing this story. Not saying this is what happened but if it did and she Drowned. Very strange situation. The entire group with her left immediately after she disappeared without reporting anything regarding her disappearance. It's a very, very unique scenario. There was one report that the lady who had accompanied Nancy appeared 'panicky' when she got to shore. Given the extraordinary circumstances, and extraordinary speculation might be that the panic expressed by the lady who was with her spread to others in the group, causing them all to jointly decide to leave immediately with the shared agreement no one should talk to authorities. This sounds beyond strange, and criminally irresponsible, and extremely speculative. Hopefully there's a better explanation that includes some sort of positive outcome. However, that seems very unlikely. Thoughts and prayers for the family.

I don't care how good a swimmer one might be but, venturing off into unknown waters reputed for being dangerous in spots is mind blowing to me. Sounds like another one of those cases where one of the males in the group sweet talks one of the girls to go to a more secluded spot so they can spend time alone, gets intoxicated, rapes the victim and in their poor judgement try to make the body disappear to get rid of the evidence

This lady went 1/2 mile out, decided to swim, went under and never came back up. Now they are all leaving that detail out because it's more dramatic.

Silence, didn't tell anyone what happened right away? Werid. If she drowned a body should be found soon enough. We're these friends or ppl she met there? If you travel go with a friend. Tell friends and family where you are going and check the country before you go. My heart goes out to the family.
