Considering it basically does the same damage as euphony at max stacks that's pretty good. You also have to consider you missed like half the shots there because of the stunning staggers
Euphony is also a special weapon all things considered. It shouldn't define the baseline per se, though I can see why you'd compare the two.
@@billywerber9117 While yes euphony is a special weapon. At max ramp, it has the damage profile of a heavy weapon. Hence the comparison. Heavy linears in general are very middle of the pack right now as far as heavies go.
@@soraneptune4178 It also takes a lot of setup to get Euphony to max stacks. By the time you're hitting the 50% boosted damage, you've already likely used multiple threadling grenades and a needle storm.
And it doesn't take up the exotic slot

The veist stinger perk is also really strong honestly, you have a chance to get ur ammo back and stuff
When I first saw the perk pool I immediately thought RR and Veist is a very strong combo on this Archetype. Enhance RR return 70% with Vesit having a 10% of refilling mags. The more shot you got the better chance you gave to teproc Veist again after it's cool down.

@@ekay6566 I recently got it and used it on boss in Warlords Dungeon. It's very very satisfying. It works how I expected. Just nonstop firing the whole damage phases. The only problem I was running into was ammo, but just slap on heavy ammo finder etc. It's going to be a staple for my builds when it comes to those type of bosses.

@juanjodpr Ideally RR, B&S, Charge Time Masterwork, Faster Charge Time battery, and Adept Backup Mags or Adept Charge Time. You'll be fine with just RR and B&S. It feels very very nice. It's definitely a staple or must have for me. If you have a chance run it now cuz Idk how long it's gonna be until they put it back in cuz I head it was supposed to be the Azume Sniper, but that changed to this.

This game doesnt show "DPS numbers". You wouldve just seen total damage. Which also includes witherhoard and everything else. If you want DPS numbers for this weapon, watch a full review by one of the MANY D2 youtubers.

@@Avixydamage doesn’t work like that, it was a one phase so the damage would’ve just been 1/3rd of his health each, look it up. When you’re getting one phases down the number done doesn’t matter it’s the time
Got one w envious and reservoir burst, the top half of the mag hits pretty hard, and it just feels way better to use than other burst linears imo
Definitely gonna be my pick for any linear encounters, I got one with same roll and additionally accelerated coils and charge master work❤

I was lucky enough to get this on my first GM run today. What's the best mag and masterwork with linears these days? Is lower charge time better DPS? Mine has Accelerated + Charge Time MW
At first i thought that we got a new archetype cause i could’ve sworn the burst lfrs used to be called aggressive bursts and not adaptive bursts
yeah they changed what bursts are called. aggressive is 4 burst, adaptive is 3, heavy is 2 across all weapon types. it used to be weird and inconsistent
I feel anything is viable as long as you can hit crits especially when you have a weaken debuff on said target

@@shaunmacready701 i full crafted this roll which i wrote above. Also i had a gambit linear that i farmed 2 months (auto + vorpal and extra perks same column.) my final verdict 3burst stronger overall and bait way more better than vorpal.
i dont do crazy dps strats but with a simple behemoth and reconstruction bipod crux (no prismatic) i got 2 mil dmg

what youre seeing is headshot vs critical shot. Both are yellow numbers because of increased damage but the headshot does almost 4x as much damage. (55k vs 15k)

No. Veist Stinger doesn't proc with envious. Also, there's far more set-up required to max out the mag. Weewoo rounds is just shoot.
This was sloppy, but this new LFR is proving to be a total monster nonetheless. All things considered, this and the upcoming AR are, according to lore, Toland's loadout weapons..

I got over 70 drops of this gun adept. So well over 30 gms just to never get RR and bait switch!!!! Not a single dang one. I farmed everyday just to be fed by rng

I ran the gm 6 times yesterday and didn’t get one with bait and switch
I've probably had around 20-25 drops for me and only 1 had B&S. Luckily, it also has ionized battery and rewind rounds, so I'm fine, but those numbers are still crazy.
What is the battery 🪫 on linears? When it says battery is full for the reservoir burst perk? Is that the magazine?
It means you are at the max of the normal magazine, but any effects that overflow it would let you have multiple empowered shots until you get to below the magazines listed maximum.

My clanmate got envious reservoir- and gets up to 19 in the mag max... that's every shot(13) up til you reach that original max of 6 getting reservoir burst bonus.

@riaast9198 Yep, that's a great roll for DPS I personally like Envious Assassin over it but Wewind Wounds is a good alternative to it
