I had a C-section two months ago, my first. Thanks God we both are good. Shout out to all C-section moms out there, we are stronger than what people see.
I’m mommy of two beautiful boys with C-section a And I’m telling you is not joke 😢 my first born is 14 months old and the second one is 1 month 😢😢 sometimes I feel like cry but when I see my beautiful blessings I’m always full of joy 🤩 God is in control !!
❤❤❤ you guys are such blessings. Having 2 kids under 2 and still find the time to put out amazing content. We really appreciate you guys doing that for us. Stay blessed and big hugs ❤
I was due May 6th with my daughter, didn’t have her until May 18th!! Got induced twice, got epidural twice, then they had to use a vacuum and forceps!! I was in labor over 31 hours including being induced, which was crazy!! Then again I was only 16 when I had her, she’s now 18!! I’m a 34 year old single mother of a 16 year old son, and an 18 year old daughter!! Took care of them by myself their whole lives!! Very proud of myself that’s for sure!
I am a c-section mom of 2. The second one was scary. I’m thankful to still be here after that experience. You’re a very strong woman, and you’re still young. You will bounce back quickly. I love the example that the two of you set for your generation. Your maturity and your mindset are on point! 💯
Thank you guys for keeping us updated, good job Quan for being a supporting system to Rissa and the boys you're truly a good example to young fathers out there.
Thank you Rissa & Quan for sharing your experiences with us. Takes a lot taking the time to actually sit down and open up to us esp. With both kids being under 2 ...Also just want to thank all those helping out with Shine as you guys create some content for us... really appreciate ya'll ❤️
I had a C-Section with my 2 children they are 3 years apart, and it’s great! There’s NO PROBLEM with waiting to have your third child, I’m pregnant with my third right now and my husband and I once again waited three years because you need to make sure your body is ready for that again! I give birth in 2onths and I am once again getting a C-Section! You are great parents Rissa and Quan Shine and baby boy are SOOO lucky to have you two! ❤
I’m a c-section mom of 3 girls and it’s definitely scary cause your so worried about the baby as well as yourself and the recovery process is something serious i love you guys so much ❤ i have a partner like Quan and it makes life run smoothly you guys are amazing
TeamRissandQuan appreciates u guys so much for giving us consistent content despite being so busy balancing parenthood, your relationship, and all the professional stuff u do
All I know is that Quan and Rissa are so soothing. I've loved watching them grow from being just the two to four, it's beautiful!!! They are wonderful souls and I know this because God, only connects me to those of a pure heart ❤ in a special way. That's what makes me love them 💕
I’m a C-section mom as well. I had open heart surgery at a year old and 39 now and my son is four I’m still here to see my son and to love on him and that was my main focus.
Rissa so glad your recovery has gone well . We as women take on the world but you are so fortunate to have Quan by your side through it all. Can't wait to see a baby girl but no rush. Love you guys
Hats off to yall that yall be giving videos, & keeping us up to date on everything with savy & shine & just yall in general, mommy of 3 and all 3 c-sections & now tubes tied I applaud you Rissa for you being so strong & being a warrior like Quan said
Hearing you explain your recovery process literally makes my heart break for women that have to endure this alone and I'm beyond grateful that God put you and Quan together because we see the love y'all have for each other and I know I'm not the only one that can literally feel it through the screen lol I've been watching y'all since the beginning and its always been that way your kids are going to feel so loved their whole lives...you guys are doing amazing and they see you through the all pain. I just know they be amazed to wake up to parents like yall every day.
I also was rushed down for an emergency c section 2 months ago, my daughters cord was wrapped around her body, neck & the cord prolapsed causing her heart rate to drop. She's here safe & sound to complete my family of 4 little girls 😄. Congratulations guys! 🎊
@@flutterby90it is their job but they just had a baby and have a toddler, so it’s harder for them to do their job that’s why we are shocked they are so consistent
I freaking adore how open and raw and real & well spoken you guys are it’s like literally my favorite thing about y’all love you guys & your little fam soooo much from LA 🥹🫶✨
I really really enjoyed this video. I’m so happy Rissa had an opportunity to speak and express herself. I feel like Quan has really grown in respecting her by not speaking over her. I know people have mentioned that in comments before, I applaud him for applying the critique.
These two are great young parents! Although realizing we don't see certain footage, I still feel that they are awesome parents! You can just see the enthusiasm in these two on being happy in their present situation! I love them so much!!💞 God please continue to Bless & Cover them! 🙏🏾💙♥️ Congratulations Family Roberts!! 🎉You're awesome!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🏆
Rissa and Quan, you guys are great! Thanks for sharing your lives with us. I love your honesty and how you explain things. God bless you and your family!
Oh, I absolutely love you guys answer as far as understanding everybody’s feelings can be different depending on their specific situation as parents. I am a single mom of two little boys in without having a village. It definitely can be super hard. Sidenote Rissa I am so happy that you are recovering. Well I’ve had two C-sections, so I completely get it and one of mine was an emergency as well praying for fast recovery, and that baby boy keeps growing and thriving. Quan, I don’t even have words like you’re just absolutely amazing. An amazing partner and amazing dad. we need more black men like you.
Aww Shine is very smart and understanding, I loved when Rissa said Shine will point at her stomach and point to his baby brother that is so sweet and he is very smart wow! Shine is going places Rissa & Quan!!
I've watched alotta families on here and have always ended up having to stop because it seemed they were more for views and all that jazz but genuinely I enjoy watching yall🥺 The love yall have for one another as well as your children and your family/friends included it's just beautiful. Being young still and growing up with toxic family and toxic parents, toxic relationships/friendships. I truly appreciate watching something that genuinely seems real and raw, the good and bad. It takes a lot to be as open as you two are and it's definitely appreciated 🫶🏼 I doubt this will be seen, but in a way watching yalls videos and seeing the healthy ways relationships are supposed to go, how a healthy start to a family looks, as well as how two non-toxic/ healthy loving parents are to their children...it's healing in a sense....without having the proper guidance in a sense I get a sense of guidance watching you two. The way yall allow eachother to talk and communicate with one another, as well as being honest about the rough and working through it. Again, yall are appreciated so much! Congratulations on such a beautiful family, and thank you for sharing it with us all!🫶🏼❤️
I feel as though you guys do a great job of including Shine, and that's why he transitioned so easily. You all made it a part of everyday life to interact with Rissa's belly. Now that Saviour is here, you guys are consistently involving him in everything and he knows exactly what to do. 😊
I love how you guys are always so raw and honest you talk about the good and the bad! And I do agree having shine involved helped make it easier to transition for him! You guys are doing amazing as young parents of 2!❤
Thank you so much Rissa and Quan for allowing us into your lives and sharing your beautiful family. You are amazing people and so honest, loving, and transparent. I enjoy watching your videos. Much love!
I am a single mother and I had 2 sons 14 months apart. Taking care of 2 small children was a lot but now my boys are 17 and 18 and watching my boys grow into men and graduating made every thing worth it. Enjoy watching your little men grow it's love❤
I almost had to have an emergency c-section with my first as well! Her heart was dropping and the nurses were so calm I didn’t even know something was happening. They gave me this shot thing in my arm & regulated our heat rates and I was able to give birth vaginally. She ended up getting stuck and had forceps help her out. Scary labor! The whole time I think I was just high on labor endorphins that it didn’t register to me the severity of what was happening but I had an amazing team and my daughter was born very healthy. I am pregnant with baby number two now (due nov. 10) and I love your videos! Thanks for sharing your experience!
These were some good questions. I like the way Quan explained that mothers put their life on the line so dads need to be selfless as well. As a C Section mom as well i wanna say we are some WARRIORS!!!!
I feel like you’re recovering so well after a c section. I remember throwing up in the hospital after my c section and that was the worse pain you could even imagine. Take it easy please!!!
You guys are so brave I had an C-section with my baby boy and it was an nervous experience I ever had in my life but God was on my side and he surely was there with y'all us women are Superwoman... Congratulations again Rissa and Quan💙🙏
As you guys sit there talking about the C section! Bring me back when I had a emergency C section! I Remember asking for my husband! Because everything happens so fast! Which he didn’t get to cut his last child umbilical cord I am happy everything went well with you and Savi! It’s a relief when you hear your baby cry after everything! I am so grateful to God! That Friday morning you guys came in my spirit and I being to pray for you guys! You guys really did a good Job getting Shine ready for his brother! I love how he always reach over and love and his brother!#teamRissandQuan! God bless you and family!
Hey Quan and Rissa. I had 4 C-Sections and one thing that you can do is when you need to cough or sneeze, take a pillow and hold it tightly against your stomach and then cough. Believe me when I tell you that it will help you tremendously and it will prevent you from opening the cut up. Also when getting out of your bed, turn on your side first, and push up with your arms. That will also help you out a lot.. But definitely hold the pillow against your stomach tightly but not too tight when coughing and sneezing.. And you guys are AWESOME as parents.. I see so much love between you guys!! Great Job Rissa and again Congratulations on the birth of your gorgeous son 💖💙💙💙
I love how quan answered the question regarding missing life before kids because he was spot on not everyone is in the same boat so everyone’s answer would be different in ways but relatable in others and that it’s okay to feel how you feel without judgement also very humble to say he wouldn’t know how to give anyone else advice on the topic instead of acting like he has the answers to things he’s not certain off he’s grown so much and that was a extremely mature answer hats of to you🙏🏼
I appreciated his answer too. It’s very true and a humble response. If you have help and community, or are able to afford help or to do the things you’d want to do without having to sacrifice one thing for another then you are more likely to still enjoy parenting without missing life before kids.
Rissa and quan are most definitely unstoppable I love you guys so much for how humble you all remind since day one and the growth is amazing to see to see your strength your consistency is everything and a family now is Amazing to watch love y’all
I had a cesarean with both my kiddos 👶🏽 as well, when I had my first born it was so scary bc they had to do an emergency c-section and had to move very fast… I thank God that myself and my daughter came out fine… shout out to all the mommies in the world, you are amazing and strong ✨💪🏽💕
I commend you both on sharing the responsibilities of caring for both boys together. I had no doubts about my Shine being the best big brother. You guys well prepared him for the changes and his new roll verses his old role.❤
I literally cannot get over the love and positivity y’all have 💕 I had my first son at 19 and now I have 4 children 6, 5, 3.5, 1.5 Only daughter is my 5 year old and I remember when I said I only wanted 2 😂 we all appreciate the honesty and love you guys always portray in your videos! 🙌
Glad y’all doing good❤❤❤I want to give a shout out to all the single parents. I had 3 boys in a house by myself and thank God I made it. They are now grown. God bless everyone ❤❤
I have 5 children. My first was a vaginal delivery and I was cut (episiotomy) from the vagina to prevent tearing. My last 4 were c sections and walking does help out a lot. You definitely don’t want to pop a stick because it is very painful and can cause infection. But you are strong Rissa so you got this boo. The babies are healthy and absolutely adorable. Congratulations to you both!❤Shine & Saviour💜
I really admire rissa as a mother she is strong, and she is always glowing ❤ always have a smile on , she is always a big support to Quan and they make it look so easy to raise two lovely boys I love you guys ❤️🤍

Y’all are doing amazing 🫶🏽🥹! I love y’all ❤ can’t wait for future content with y’all and the baby boys!! Definitely hope Rissa get her baby girl in the future 😂 being in a house full of boys is no joke, I have 4 brothers and I can never relax 😂 Will you guys upload a routine video or DITL?
I’m a mum of 3 & I’ve given birth naturally all 3 times!!! So this gave me a new perspective on a C-Section birth!!!! I loved this sit down so much. I missed these videos!!!😍💕💯 Can’t wait to see Shine & Saviour grow!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
It’s not just the Content, but the strength, and the Love in the Content. Keep pushing Rissa, and Quan. You both are doing an Amazing job. Remember to continue to take time for Rest, and Self Care. I love you guys, truly. -Lori
Y’all got this 💪 We went from 1 to 3 boys under two when I had our twins. We’re now 4 under 5. You learn to love the chaos and not sweat the small things. They grow sooooo fast. As hard as it can be sometimes, soak it up ❤❤
@@meka8953 no one is bragging. We’re relating to huge changes parents go through, especially as they have more kids. It’s NOT easy, but absolutely rewarding seeing the little humans you create, grow and learn. It can be encouraging to some, especially a new mom going through all the hormonal changes and healing that as hard and crazy as it is, this is all temporary and do try to enjoy it.
I feel compelled to applaud you @Riss & Quan, and your parents who poured into you what you two are pouring into your beautiful baby boys! It's refreshing to see...I enjoy your content - so positive, productive, and insightful...Most of all, QUALITY, all the way around... Congratulations, y'all!!👣💙🍼💞🥰
As a mother of 5,I’m very proud of the job you both are doing, enjoy every moment with your little ones, because it’s truly goes by fast, I can’t believe mine is the ages they are, 24,21,19,17,15.when the heck did that happen. You both are doing fabulous ,and God choose the best parents for your boys. God bless and keep your family.🎉❤
I had a C-section with my first baby and it took me almost 2weeks to start walking. I can say that Rissa is a warrior. I remember they even stopped me from bathing but rather wipe my body with a piece of cloth. It was hard. Big up to you guys
I understand completely Rissa in regards to feeling left out on that. With one of my kiddos, he was a preemie (thank goodness as full term he would have been born stillborn) but the minute I pushed him out they called code blue as there was no cord left as it was all wrapped around his neck and once the doctor got it untangled and unwrapped she had to pump the blood from the cord for about an hour then they rushed him off to the NICU and I couldn't even see him the first 48+ hours. And that's just one child I had issues with and I have 5 kids all together each with different scary pregnancy health issues throughout. You're definitely a warrior Rissa and Quan you're an absolutely amazing partner. Love you guys💙💜💙💙
Rissa looks really good for just having baby and especially C-section. Those were some great questions and honest answers. ROBERT'S FAMILY ❤ love you guys
I was gonna say Shine definitely hasn’t shown jealously from the content that you guys show us but you both are inclusive and he has family that shows him so much love so he’s full I’m sure 🥰 #TeamRissQuanShineAndSaviour
So happy that you aren't rushing to #3. It's wise to give the boys time to get to know each other for you all to really learn your boy's personalities, moods, etc. and for your body (Rissa) to heal completely. Maybe you want to squeeze a wedding in between #2 and #3🤗. Beautiful family-great parents.
Both of you have changed drastically I seen it, I followed you were before you had children when you were much younger, and I am so proud of you both that you’re awesome parents, God bless you both!
Quan is spot on with being selfless. This includes gamers! I feel like my husband could give our son more time but it’s hard trying to balance self care but also caring for your child and being there for your spouse. We’re both one and done 😅💕💕💕

Quan you nailed those answers rissa and boys have a strong and sensitive man in their lives.
Rissa and quan does it all the time🎉💙..consistency is key!!
I love how I've watched Riss and Quan grow and become such great parents 😊❤
Quan answered beautifully when asked if y’all missed ur life before kids ❤ Beautiful response Quan ❤
Like literally everyday I say Rissa is a strong person ❤❤
Glad y’all doing good❤❤❤I want to give a shout out to all the single parents. I had 3 boys in a house by myself and thank God I made it. They are now grown. God bless everyone ❤❤
I absolutely love these two. They're just so down to earth and transparent with us. I feel like they're my friends 🤣🖤
This was a very good Q& A! You guys make the perfect team! Praying Rissa continues to heal🙏🏾💕 Love you guys❤
I love Rissa so much she so strong 🎉🎉🎉 congrats on been a boss mom ❤
I have 5 children. My first was a vaginal delivery and I was cut (episiotomy) from the vagina to prevent tearing. My last 4 were c sections and walking does help out a lot. You definitely don’t want to pop a stick because it is very painful and can cause infection. But you are strong Rissa so you got this boo. The babies are healthy and absolutely adorable. Congratulations to you both!❤Shine & Saviour💜
Y’all are amazing !!! Y’all are great parents and I love to see it !! Team work makes the dream work !

I just LOVE how being a Mother is such a Blessing Rissa your doing a Great Job I had 3 C-Sections
Rissa is a beautiful and strong woman! Love you guys ❤
Y’all got this 💪 We went from 1 to 3 boys under two when I had our twins. We’re now 4 under 5. You learn to love the chaos and not sweat the small things. They grow sooooo fast. As hard as it can be sometimes, soak it up ❤❤
Why do y'all BRAG ABOUT THAT
@@meka8953 no one is bragging.
Quan is right Riss, you are a real SUPERWOMAN🥺❤
I feel compelled to applaud you @Riss & Quan, and your parents who poured into you what you two are pouring into your beautiful baby boys! It's refreshing to see...I enjoy your content - so positive, productive, and insightful...Most of all, QUALITY, all the way around... Congratulations, y'all!!👣💙🍼💞🥰
Rissa is a very strong woman ☺️ I love how Quan loves his Family ❤️
As a mother of 5,I’m very proud of the job you both are doing, enjoy every moment with your little ones, because it’s truly goes by fast, I can’t believe mine is the ages they are, 24,21,19,17,15.when the heck did that happen. You both are doing fabulous ,and God choose the best parents for your boys. God bless and keep your family.🎉❤
Same here
“We need to chill anyway” that had me ballin🤣🤣🤣🤣!!!!
I had a C-section with my first baby and it took me almost 2weeks to start walking. I can say that Rissa is a warrior. I remember they even stopped me from bathing but rather wipe my body with a piece of cloth. It was hard. Big up to you guys
The 1st question got me in tears😢 I'm really happy all went well at the end❤
What a beautiful family of four may God continue to bless you all, Rissa you are the strongest mom ever you go girl!
