Good share Heretic Chick. Thank you. My understanding is that the blood of the Passover lamb was a onetime occurrence applied by people coming out of Egypt. Some didn't apply it and perished instantly. The blood of LORD Jesus holds divine power to rescue and save out of the darkness in this world, and its power is ever present.
Referring to a couple comments here. I think that the truth is just too hard for some to accept. And the reason being, the ego is strong and so is the belief in being the chosen one and unable to break that chain. The fact that the church as a whole is silent on the matter is very telling. It’s hard to even buy into it long enough to fellowship because most just put up a brick wall when you point stuff out. It’s almost like they are choosing…. Not to see it. Like if I don’t believe it long enough and avoid it, it will just go away. When the reality is, the person bringing it up goes away not the truth…..
Saying that Jesus is coming again after he fulfilled all prophecy in the first century is like saying that He didn't or hasn't done enough. It's also paramount to what the apostate Israel did by rejecting Jesus and his work in the 1st century... expecting that he would be an earthly king. Jesus never owed us anything. It would be heartbreaking 💔 to think that it's never enough. Love the way you teach!

The “great city (Babylon) is contrasted with the city of God - the New Jerusalem. Neither are geographical places or even time stamped but both encompass people from all geographical areas and times. Mystery Babylon is religion in the flesh and is exactly where and who crucified our Lord. There are the “many called who persecute the “few chosen” who told to “come out of her”.

Fornicating is taking in her lyes. Adultery is taking her oaths. The virgins are those who don’t take in the false teachings or oaths but follow the Lord wherever he leads them.
'To come out of her' was a matter of life or death. Jesus himself had given a stern warning to his disciples when he told them to flee to the mountains when they saw the city surrounded by armies.
Heresy without knowledge.. The city of Babylon was located in Mesopotamia, and it is very far from Jerusalem, and its ruins still exist to this day, and its location is south of the capital of Iraq "Baghdad". And your Lord never visited it, so that he could be crucified in it. God sacrificed your God to God in order to save God's creation from God
@@gotteskinder3746 My guess is that Revelation was written prior to 1 Peter and the churches were aware and familiar with it, so Peter is picking up on that terminology and using it to refer to the church in Jerusalem. Or possibly Peter’s wife? What do you think?🙏❤️
@ Thanks for taking the time to answer. I can only refer to historical records which date the letter of Peter in the 60‘s and Revelation in the 90‘s. But what do we know? Anyway, I have no true evidence for either Rom or Mekka being Babylon. In Revelation 11 Jerusalem is mentioned as Sodom and Egypt where our Lord was crucified. There is biblical evidence for Jerusalem being Babylon. Peter was in Rom in the 60‘s and therefore Rom is also a possibility. I only was curious if you have any evidence for any possibility. There is so much confusion in Christianity. The devil did a good job in confusing the Lords followers. There are even believers that teach that the name Jesus is actually Baal and that Yehoshua is the right name not Jesus. I mean, there is more division in the followers of Christ than in any other religion I guess.
Mistery Babylon is the place where the OT prophets were killed, that unequivocally points to Jerusalem. Babylon is also called 'whore'. Only the Israelites as a people were ever in covenant with God, the Bible says he was their husband. Throughout the OT we can read how the Israelites became unfaithful to God and the climax of that was when the high priests said to Pilates we have no king but Caesar. Jerusalem was also where the Christ rejecting Jews filled up the cup of their fathers' sins and the time came for this last evil and adulterous generation to be judged ecxactly as Jesus had prophesied it would happen. Throughout Revelation the focus of God's judgmenent is this one great city Jerusalem where the Lord was crucified. America is not a city and it's not Mistery Babylon, you'd better be grateful for it.
@bing621 read the description in Revelations it very clearly is all the characteristics of America. Also when Revelations was written America was not known to John that's why it's called mystery Babylon.

My guess about 'Babylon' is that it's a _title_ that has been used to refer to many cities, as you describe, referring to a center of iniquity(sin.) In fact, I have this theory that the following cities names are actually titles: 'Rome' = the world's _currently_ biggest center of secular power. 'Babylon' = the world's _current_ hub of sin and iniquity. 'Jerusalem' = the world's _current_ spiritual capital. But one place could qualify for more than one of those titles. NY City, for example, might qualify as both a 'Rome' and a 'Babylon,' but would not qualify as a 'Jerusalem.' And, as you point out, if Jerusalem(a spiritual capital) is corrupted, then it is also 'Babylon.'
What the prophecy is saying here is that the great city resembles Sodom, Egypt and Jerusalem, the city where Jesus was crucified. In Revelation chapter 18 she is covered by the waves of the sea to be found no more. This is not the same fate as the city of Jerusalem has. Jerusalem gets surrounded by armies and becomes desolate. Two different places.
@@john4148 The Bible often uses flood imagery to signify armies… like the Assyrian army in Isaiah 8. Babylon contained the blood of the martyrs. Jesus said Jerusalem was the only city responsible for killing the prophets and their blood would be avenged in “this generation “ 2000 years ago🙏❤️

The great city here is literately swept under the sea by a giant wave from an asteroid/milstone thrown down by an Angel that causes a tidal wave. Rome is identified as the Iron on the statue made of four metals. Jerusalem was never on the statue starting at the head of gold 604 B.C. She travels down the statue becoming the iron and the clay. Her last destination was Rome. Mystery, Babylon sits below Rome, so it's not Rome or Jerusalem.

Newly bloomed Jerusalem of 1948 becomes desolate by the man of sin right before Jesus returns. Could a burning temple in Jerusalem be seen from the Mediterranean? Approx 35 miles. It’s on a hill approx 2475’ above sea level. This seems pretty reasonable to me considering I can see a giant greenhouse lights that are 45 miles away from me and the same elevation. When weather conditions are right.

@hereticchic @22:12 you are hitting on the most preeminent arguements, for the purpose of the type/anti-type. I forget what the Greek word is, oh I partially remember, it’s “the appointed time”, used Duet. 32, is at times translated “ the goal”, so yes profound point that Jesus was “the goal” or end point for all fulfillment and there can’t be any “greater” in the future. I see what you mean but Revelation was written after the destruction of Jerusalem And John was shown the future thus pointing out the system, like that which started in Babylon and will spread to the rest, giving the same oppresive religious rules based on tradition (catholisism) and predetory government. Again Jesus said; "think not that I come to destroy the Law, but to fullfill. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Gods law remains (thou shall not kill...) But certainly Mosaic law and cerimonial Law (old covenat law) were done away with though some are still beneficial, he goes on to say , except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. So Gods Law still stands but without jesus in us we have no chance of keeping it, thus the law cant save but should guide our daily life.

@bing621 Revelation 17 & 18 are about the Babylon (s). From Babel to Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon to Rome and on. Babylon is the colloquial term that the bible gives for whoever is the world's ruling power/ empire/ nation. Peter calls Rome Babylon in 1st Peter 5 13. That makes Rome a daughter of Babylon. Throughout history, through different generations, ruling nations (Babylons/ daughters of Babylon) have came and gone. Babylon was and was not, is and is not, and was in the form of Rome in the time of John writing Revelation. Rome was Babylon during the time of Christ's 1st coming. For Rome or actual Babylon in Iraq to be the end times Babylon would be no MYSTERY for both have already held the title of Babylon. Nor are either fulfilling the prophecies of Revelation and other scripture. Neither are world leaders/ powers. Israel is not a Babylon and not acting as a world power. Saudi Arabia is not a world power. All of these have their influence, yes, but are not the most powerful nations on earth.
@bing621 New York City An example of a city being called Mystery Babylon, but is not. This is an exercise of application of what people claim today, but through application is false (but yet somewhat true) NYC is frequently thrown around as being Mystery babylon. It is not. NYC, albeit an economic powerhouse, has no authority over other nations. When Moscow chose to invade Ukraine, it didn't consider the actions of NYC but it did consider the action of another prominent city. Yes, it clearly considered the action of Europe but I'm asking which prominent city's actions would it have considered the most? In other words, what city yields the largest hammer? NYC is under the authority of the state of New York. NYC and the state of New York are both under the authority of another city. NYC is not the city of Revelation 17 verse 18.

@bing621 Revelation 17 & 18 are kinda double descriptive (for lack of a better term). It is being descriptive of the last, end-times, mystery Babylon but also speaking of all Babylons in concordance of the scripture saying that the beast was and is not and yet is. Babylons come and go. The different Babylons after Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon would be daughters of Babylon. Reference that the bible refers to different generations of Israel as daughters of zion. You'll see daughters of Judah. Unless it's a genealogy, daughters is referencing down the line generations as the history progressed through the bible. Of course we are on the other side of prophecy and the prologue of scripture is now or becoming our past.
I’m seriously trying to comprehend your thinking. Why did Peter refer to Rome as Babylon? How can you justify saying that “the jews” rejected Jesus? There are tens of thousands of us even in Israel now who do not reject him and that number is growing. Your entire argument fails severely when you logically apply the prophets to what is and will happen. That entire book is about the restoration of Israel. Even to the last word “Christian” theology has to stamp us out to make the pieces fit but you go on ignoring Zech 12-14, Rom 11, Daniel 7-12, Obadiah, Amos, Joel et al. Who is the serpent of Dan’s tribe? Who will stand in the temple forthcoming? And to which city do all the nations come to celebrate the Sukkot when The Messiah returns?

If you watch the video I made just prior to this one Igivengive an explanation for why the scriptures teach that old covenant. Jerusalem is the Babylon of revelation. No, you are teaching in error. Rev. 11 the great city is Jerusalem, but Rev. 17-18 is that great city Babylon which is Las Vegas. You are walking after the flesh which means you are reading the letters and words of the verses. You have to be in the kjv bible and convert the letters in the verses into numbers A=1----Z=26 which is walking after the spirit. Letters are flesh and numbers are spirit.
The law (of Yahweh / Moses) was slavery ! No one could keep it 100%, so all the bloodshed of countless animals. And Yahweh sure enjoyed a good barbecue. When Yahweh gave the law, He already knew that no one could keep it. The law was a contract with Israel (a bad contract). But there must've been an "escape clause" where if a man could keep the law perfectly during his lifetime, then ALL of humanity would be released from the law. That's what Jesus accomplished. Jesus made several statements where He says: "You have heard it said X, but I say Y". So please tell me that if Yahweh was the Almighty God of the Universe, then how could Jesus alter Yahweh's law ?

Referring to a couple comments here. I think that the truth is just too hard for some to accept. And the reason being, the ego is strong and so is the belief in being the chosen one and unable to break that chain. The fact that the church as a whole is silent on the matter is very telling. Anyway, I have no true evidence for either Rom or Mekka being Babylon. In Revelation 11 Jerusalem is mentioned as Sodom and Egypt where our Lord was crucified. There is biblical evidence for Jerusalem being Babylon. Peter was in Rom in the 60‘s and therefore Rom is also a possibility.
I only was curious if you have any evidence for any possibility.
There is so much confusion in Christianity. The devil did a good job in confusing the Lords followers. There are even believers that teach that the name Jesus is actually Baal and that Yehoshua is the right name not Jesus. Mistery Babylon is the place where the OT prophets were killed, that unequivocally points to Jerusalem. Babylon is also called 'whore'. Throughout the OT we can read how the Israelites became unfaithful to God and the climax of that was when the high priests said to Pilates we have no king but Caesar. Jerusalem was also where the Christ rejecting Jews filled up the cup of their fathers' sins and the time came for this last evil and adulterous generation to be judged ecxactly as Jesus had prophesied it would happen. Throughout Revelation the focus of God's judgmenent is this one great city Jerusalem where the Lord was crucified. America is not a city and it's not Mistery Babylon, you'd better be grateful for it.

My guess about 'Babylon' is that it's a _title_ that has been used to refer to many cities, as you describe, referring to a center of iniquity(sin.)
In fact, I have this theory that the following cities names are actually titles:
'Rome' = the world's _currently_ biggest center of secular power.
'Babylon' = the world's _current_ hub of sin and iniquity.
'Jerusalem' = the world's _current_ spiritual capital.
But one place could qualify for more than one of those titles. NY City, for example, might qualify as both a 'Rome' and a 'Babylon,' but would not qualify as a 'Jerusalem.' And, as you point out, if Jerusalem(a spiritual capital) is corrupted, then it is also 'Babylon.'
What the prophecy is saying here is that the great city resembles Sodom, Egypt and Jerusalem, the city where Jesus was crucified. In Revelation chapter 18 she is covered by the waves of the sea to be found no more. This is not the same fate as the city of Jerusalem has. Jerusalem gets surrounded by armies and becomes desolate. Two different places.

Rome is identified as the Iron on the statue made of four metals. Jerusalem was never on the statue starting at the head of gold 604 B.C. She travels down the statue becoming the iron and the clay. Her last destination was Rome. Mystery, Babylon sits below Rome, so it's not Rome or Jerusalem.

I see what you mean but Revelation was written after the destruction of Jerusalem And John was shown the future thus pointing out the system, like that which started in Babylon and will spread to the rest, giving the same oppresive religious rules based on tradition (catholisism) and predetory government. Again Jesus said; "think not that I come to destroy the Law, but to fullfill.

Gods law remains (thou shall not kill...) But certainly Mosaic law and cerimonial Law (old covenat law) were done away with though some are still beneficial, he goes on to say , except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
So Gods Law still stands but without jesus in us we have no chance of keeping it, thus the law cant save but should guide our daily life.

@bing621 Revelation 17 & 18 are about the Babylon (s). From Babel to Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon to Rome and on. Babylon is the colloquial term that the bible gives for whoever is the world's ruling power/ empire/ nation.
Peter calls Rome Babylon in 1st Peter 5 13. That makes Rome a daughter of Babylon. Throughout history, through different generations, ruling nations (Babylons/ daughters of Babylon) have came and gone. Babylon was and was not, is and is not, and was in the form of Rome in the time of John writing Revelation. Rome was Babylon during the time of Christ's 1st coming.
For Rome or actual Babylon in Iraq to be the end times Babylon would be no MYSTERY for both have already held the title of Babylon. Nor are either fulfilling the prophecies of Revelation and other scripture. Neither are world leaders/ powers. Israel is not a Babylon and not acting as a world power. Saudi Arabia is not a world power. All of these have their influence, yes, but are not the most powerful nations on earth.

@bing621 Revelation 17 & 18 are kinda double descriptive (for lack of a better term). It is being descriptive of the last, end-times, mystery Babylon but also speaking of all Babylons in concordance of the scripture saying that the beast was and is not and yet is. Babylons come and go. The different Babylons after Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon would be daughters of Babylon. Reference that the bible refers to different generations of Israel as daughters of zion. You'll see daughters of Judah. Unless it's a genealogy, daughters is referencing down the line generations as the history progressed through the bible.
Of course we are on the other side of prophecy and the prologue of scripture is now or becoming our past.

There are tens of thousands of us even in Israel now who do not reject him and that number is growing. Your entire argument fails severely when you logically apply the prophets to what is and will happen. That entire book is about the restoration of Israel. Even to the last word “Christian” theology has to stamp us out to make the pieces fit but you go on ignoring Zech 12-14, Rom 11, Daniel 7-12, Obadiah, Amos, Joel et al. Who is the serpent of Dan’s tribe? Who will stand in the temple forthcoming? And to which city do all the nations come to celebrate the Sukkot when The Messiah returns?

No, you are teaching in error. Rev. 11 the great city is Jerusalem, but Rev. 17-18 is that great city Babylon which is Las Vegas. You are walking after the flesh which means you are reading the letters and words of the verses. You have to be in the kjv bible and convert the letters in the verses into numbers A=1----Z=26 which is walking after the spirit. Letters are flesh and numbers are spirit.

When Yahweh gave the law, He already knew that no one could keep it. The law was a contract with Israel (a bad contract). But there must've been an "escape clause" where if a man could keep the law perfectly during his lifetime, then ALL of humanity would be released from the law. That's what Jesus accomplished.
