Back again with another video!
This time, we're going all the way back to 1991 for the first "Final Zone" if you will. A dark, ominous atmosphere surrounds our blue spiky hero as he approaches the final confrontation with Dr. Robotnik to free his animal friends from the robotic captivity.
I hope you all enjoy my take on Scrap Brain Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 1.

I have always wanted to see Scrap Brain come back in a sequel in ruins, rusting from neglect. Act I would be running through Scrap Brain, it falling apart around you as the machines attempt to take you down one last time with their decay. Act II would see the machines come back to life, more hungry for Sonic’s scalp then their first time. As the Act progresses, you would have to climb the scaffolding and catwalks to the highest levels, jumping over and between the smokestacks. It would become more treacherous as the zone progresses, with more machines and industry making their debut until you reach the end. In doing so, one would reflect that Scrap Brain signifies the height of Robotnik’s power, and with it being utilized once more, Robotnik means business.
This is the only zone that presents exactly what Robotnik is perfectly. The other final zones are technological titans. Scrap Brain is a massive industrial complex, running at full power, explaining exactly why Robotnik has the potential to conquer what he desired. Even without the chaos emeralds, he just could have used his machines.
God, I love Scrap Brain Zone's theme. One of the best in the series and this remix does it justice.
This is an amazing Labyrinth Zone Act 4 Remix!
Sounds like something that should have been in Sonic mania
Alot of ppl may hate this Zone, but i love it because its one of the rare Zones that keep you on your toes. They need to make more quick thinking Zones that focus on Sonic's fast mobility and jumping speed

I always loved this level... not only for the gameplay, the background is one of the best things on the game... an industrial complex that looks like an entire city..! And your remix just provide justice to that look..!
I remember my first completed Sonic game being Sonic Generations. In that game, you could play the original Sonic The Hedgehog, and I did. I kept losing in Marble Zone and Labyrinth Zone. I finally made it to Scrap Brain Zone, and on my last life, I made it to a grey and purple Labyrinth, and somehow.. I made it to the Final Zone. And SOMEHOW! On the final strike, I hit him twice. The worst part is, I thought it was normal for Dr. Eggman to take so many hits. Then I was crushed...

9.9/10 its not the Game Gear version.
Scrap Brain Zone is underrated! I love the overall atmosphere and level design, there is of course a few ‘cheap’ moments but overall is decently fair if you know what you doing. I hate to say it but skill issue! ;)
