I love how they kept the chemistry between Morticia and Gomez, nothing can beat the chemistry the characters had in the Addams Family (the movies) but this is a close second also I love Morticia's style, nobody talks about it enough.

I’ve waited until now to give praise to Madison and Christian for their reaction to each of the Wednesday episodes. MACReact is by some way the best review of this series and that is down to the chemistry between M and C and their analysis. Fun fact, I had sus vibes about Tyler right from the start and picked Ms Thornhill quite early as the other and weirdly attended a wedding some years ago where Wednesday was filmed. Of course, the Hyde and Master weren’t revealed until later, but my gut is rarely wrong. The writers are to be commended for their brilliance and the cast were truly born to play their parts. Very happy that a second series is underway and fascinated to see what paths it follows. Well done guys 🙌🙌💪🖤
Morticia was captain of the fencing team and Gomez makes acrobatic fencing part of his regular routine.
So glad, a main character isn't forced to play some basic instrument like piano or violin, Violoncello suits Wednesday so well

The one thing I disliked about the casting was Luis Guzman. I always loved him as an actor but not as Gomez until I researched further. You are correct, Tim Burton took the time to pay homage to the original source material which is why I came to realize Guzman is a perfect Gomez. Tim Burton did the same thing with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but it was never really appreciated because of the much earlier movie.

Very Happy Yall gettin to this one, think your gonna have a blast with it . Did not expect such a detective and mystery element , but works so well and Ortega is amazing in the role.

This is so funny, in the late 90's when I was in high school I had a friend named Tuesday that looks, talks and has similar mannerisms as the Blonde lady and now I'm watching "her" react to Wednesday. Great show and great Reaction/Analysis.

🤔 I think that the reason that Rowan was more hostle during their 2nd interaction was bc it happened after he looked at the book with the prophecy and the 1st time he tired to kill her she was able to escape so now he was desperate to kill her and he just took the opportunity when they were alone to finish the job 🤔

the scorpion scene is fkn heartbreaking.
I think Rowan seemed so distraught in that scene because he didn't actually want to kill her. He was only doing it because his mom told him he had to, that's why he says "I HAVE to kill you" and hesitates in the scene

I'm still a little annoyed by some of the character's portrayals. Pugsly especially. I don't see him being a cowardly crybaby. If he was getting bullied he would not only enjoy it, but he wouldn't even realize he was being bullied. He'd just think he made friends. Additionally Morticia being unapproving of Wednesday also feels off considering the Adams family have always been super loving and accepting of their kids. That said Wednesday is spot on and Jenna Ortega plays her flawlessly. When I was a kid, Wednesday was my first crush. I knew liked girls after I saw Adams Family Values. And a lot of those same feelings came back up when I saw this show. 😅
