Joven Baring - No, not at all. The 220 will record all the running data during your exercise, then use the phone after to sync all the information to Garmin Connect 👍
Not sure on the 920xt but the following article may help: support.garmin.com/support/searchSupport/case.faces?caseId=%7B807765e0-4e56-11e4-ef05-000000000000%7D
Hi Shafiq,
Does the bluetooth on the watch have to be enabled to sync after a run.
+da “d1963” le Yes it does. I usually always leave bluetooth enabled the watch.

Does it work with the 225 ? it doesn't show the pair device option.
looking at online reviews some people have had Bluetooth synching problems. Is this issue now fixed?
Thanks
One of my friends did have an issue syncing with their iPad, but performing a firmware update sorted the problem out.
Hi! Do I need to bring my phone while running? Thanks!
