I just ordered a Military serge western shirt. My first IH product. The price hurt like hell but if it lasts like its reputation suggests, I will be content. Its already summer here in NYC, so it wont see proper breaking-in for a few more good months.
Badass shirt, have the exact same one and have been wearing for just over 6 months. Also bought the medium and ended up exchanging it for a large. You'll find yourself wanting to pick up a UHF before long, they're unbelievable!
@@DevonReviewer It is the Ultra Heavy Buffalo Check Work Shirt. Not sure about the particular model, they are discontinued a long time ago. But it is the same fabric and style as the IHSH-258-NAV currently shown on IH website.
I’ve got the IHSH 33 Indigo and the IHSH 262 Nav. I love ‘em both and would have another IH shirt. However it would have to be a colour/pattern I really liked because of how much they cost.
I can see a UHF joining the collection at some point, but yes they are expensive and I am also aware that there are a host of other makers I want to try too!
@@DevonReviewer on the days I’m at work I only wear my work uniform and gym gear. That leaves on average three days a week where I wear my own clothes. Therefore most of my clothes don’t get worn very often. Same with my boots. My Iron Rangers and 875s are both four years old but neither are anywhere near to needing a resole.
I have a bit more flexibility as we are more smart office casual so new denim and red wings work.. once the fades start to set in I swap out to leisure wear only.. of course with more working from home there is more time to work on fades!
My opinion is that a gentle hand wash / bath soak takes out minimal indigo and can/will prevent the fibres failing and causing blowouts. 2 years is a long time (if they are worn regularly) I would give them a gentle wash!
@@DevonReviewer I purchase some helcor leather timberland premiums are scratch proof and fire proof apparently, and I have the nubuck one too, both boots are solid but I’d love to know how well the sole lasts cause you can get them resolved with a vibram sole

Yes I think the fades will be soft and come in around the cuffs first, perhaps a little roping on the hem too.

Its actually indigo but dark and holding its colour.. I do need to look at the colour accuracy of my set up as it does look black!

Had my pbj 18ozs 2 years tomorrow thinking of washing them for the 1st time.Decisions to make what do you reckon 👍

I like it except for the manufacturers label on the pocket which for me is a rather polarising negative point.
