Funny, but I don't see any 6 foot seas. That express runs about 6 foot of freeboard nose up like he was and nothing came close - 3 maybe 4 foot seas at most.
@@yessuhyessuh2100 yeah, they do when the idiot at the helm is going too fast. I've been in 6 foot seas and that is not even close. Six foot means six feet from the lowest point of the trough to the crest of the waves. Six foot waves would be higher than the freeboard of that boat. The entire hull would disappear in the trough of the waves.
@@erichammond9308 I've been on the water my whole life and I have half a brain to know that the camera will never really show how rough it is a like I said a 42 foot 17500lb boat wouldn't launch in 3-4s and speed would only make the ride smoother in those conditions. And the bow raises on plane too 6 feet would never be higher than the fretboard. Not all of the waves were 6 foot in this video but he definitely went over a few
@@Ptro1 you act like you can't take a 20 foot boat out in 6 footers. I do that shit all the time in my 26 grady. You obvioisly don't have enough time one the water to be able to tell how rough the ocean is on camera... the only small boat that was filmed going out got beat up bad and was launched almost vertical. Like I said before anything under 5 or 6 feet won't launch a 17000lb 42 foot boat out the water.
@@yessuhyessuh2100 not saying you can’t but you can obviously tell those arnt 6ft. And at speed you can launch pretty much any boat. But I bet you catch some hella big fish if those are 6ftrs to you

Really? How about the big battlewagon sports fishermen? They're monohull, and that see vee is not even close to the same class - see Jarret Bay, Spencer, or Bayliss for some true monohull sports fishing boats.
@@erichammond9308 You're correct and point taken but not quite what I meant. Dude in the tiny aqua sport went through like a boss 😎
Insane bow steer on that Freeman
Is it because it is an LR hull type?
The Freeman guy knows how to send it
The Freeman and Insetta boats are crazy
That Freeman said, "Fuck you 6 footers, I own you."
The Freeman seems to handle this better.
I'm super fan of the Boston Whalers !
The cats win the dogfight!!!
super - mono hull can't compete
Freeman went through like nobody’s business

you need new eyes 3 to 4s dont launch a 42 foot boat

Bigger boats usually do much better, the Freeman is kind of special.
How would the performance be on that Freeman 42 if it had 2x v12 600HP instead of 4x 300Hp?
What do you think?
ruclips.net/video/LOP9TYfjNhQ/видео.html
Just to get a idea
Two million dollars...it better!
What’s everyone dream center console
In Louisiana a shot would have been fired into the hull of a boat doing that in a pass.
back in so soon
For over one million I hope so
verado 350's...not 300's
By 6 foot you mean maybe 3 foot?
Its obvious to the trained eye these waves are 5-7.
Any catamaran would do the same even older cat boats. Plenty of good cats that aren’t 1 million base price can do the same
Freemans are nice, but those seas are not close to 6 foot
you're dumb if you think otherwise... waves under 5 feet wont launch a 42 out of the water
@@yessuhyessuh2100 yeah I’m not seeing 6ftrs either. Notice all the smaller 20ft boats going in the inlet also

The Freeman is a killer alright but after watching hundreds of these inlet video's the Sea Vee (3:59) is the king of the fishing monohulls

2-3 foot chop....
2-3 doesn't launch a 42 foot 17500lb boat...
