The issue with Nas, from what I remember was a misunderstanding. The intro verse on the message. Damn near everyone thought it was pointed at him. "Fake thug, no love, you get the slug, CB4 Gusto/Your luck low" Nas, cleared it up that was meant for. Big. Who as a response had Kicking In The Door. It was more a competitive thing between them. He even touches on the topic on God's Son. I'm sure his connection with Mobb Deep played a part, but Pac was connected to ppl in Queens. Their circles did overlap. Either way, I'm glad they both got closure before he passed.
I always thought as soon as I heard "The Message" it was a diss for Pac, Big, and Jay Z before Nas addressed it on God's Son. Anyone in the know who really listened to the layered underlying subliminals of the actual defining words of the verse knew that Nas was definitely being competitive to his other great contemporary rappers of that time. The NY rappers wouldn't say your name directly but would use such identifying remarks you would know who they were speaking about.

About time somebody interviewed Eric B about Death Row East. Always wanted to here his side of the story especially sine that lame ass 2pac movie made it seem like PAC was gonna be over Death Row East
Pac was indeed making moves with Quincy Jones' Qwest Records - he even says so himself in his last in-depth interview with Rob Marriott, recorded just two weeks before he was fatally shot. In the interview, Pac says that he has a group called the Ghetto Stars, an off-shoot of the Outlawz, coming out on Qwest Records. This makes sense seeing as Pac was dating Kidada Jones, Quincy Jones' daughter, at the time.
What was said that made him not want to be involved with the memorial service? Eric says he'll take it to the grave, but Reggie said it's been talked about on vladtv. Anyone know which interview?
Now I've heard a few versions of this. All of them stated that Pac was gonna take Nas out of the diss track, but this is a first of me hearing Pac was not gonna drop the album. I'm wondering if that's what he meant. If so, Suge wasn't gonna have that. That was making money. Could be a setup from the jump made by Suge.
Great interview reggie n John !!! ..... I knew snoop was lying about been present while pac n nas were talking or wen he said nas could have snapped his fingers or a wink n deathrow would have been killed ...
PEOPLE GOTTA STOP SAYING IT WAS NEVER A COASTAL THING. IT WAS! AND IT STARTED WHEN BIG GOT ON THE RADIO AND GOT SNOOP AND THE DOGG POUNDS TRAILER SHOT UP. THE SOURCE AWARDS WAS CLEARLY BETWEEN 2 PEOPLE BUT THE SHOOTING MADE THINGS SERIOUS BETWEEN COASTAL ARTISTS. KEYWORD ARTISTS.
You don't what you are talking about. The East and West BEEF only existed in the media and in the minds of ignorant and naive fans that believed the B.S. in the media.
THATS PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE WHO MATTERED! ALL IT TOOK WAS ONE PERSON OUT OF THE PEOPLE YOU JUST MENTIONED TO FEEL OFFENED AND IT WAS ON! IT WAS CREATED BY THE MEDIA BUT GUESS WHAT, IT WAS CREATED!!! I PERSONALLY WENT TO NY IN 2001 AND THEY WAS STILL ON THAT TIP! DONT TELL ME NOTHIN.
can you believe in the UK we know Half the West coast rappers and yet NY mans didn't know who C BO was when I was there shows NY only kisses their own ass ps new York didn't invent hip hop go study other oral cultures throughout history. that would battle each other in poetry even pre Islamic Arabia
I WENT TO NY TALKIN ABOUT E40 AND THEY SAID "DO HE REALLY ROCK OUT THERE?" IM LIKE WHATCHUMEAN BY THAAAT?? IT WAS A REAL THING. IM IN CALI AND THE NY NIGGAS THATS OUT HERE ONLY TALK ABOUT HOW BETTER IT IS OUT IN NY, THERE MUSIC, CULTURE, AIGHT THEN GO BACK!!!

Facts
Pac was bumpin "it was written" constantly, pac defo was planning working with nas
It was Puffy that didnt want to show up... Suge and Pac were willing to do it.. Neutral location in Atlanta
Rest easy Pac,803
True Legend 💯
it was mopreme who said Pac was shaking the bed out of frustration
What was said that made him not want to be involved with the memorial service? Eric says he'll take it to the grave, but Reggie said it's been talked about on vladtv. Anyone know which interview?

Wow!!!
John and regg ,keep it komin 💯👌 fyre!
He was dropping the album but he was gonna remove the nas diss tracks from it
Pac and nas doin an album damn
Now I see why diddy did C Mack dirty.damn...
That's why puff didn't fuck with Craig Mack
Classic interview

Great interview reggie n John !!! ..... I knew snoop was lying about been present while pac n nas were talking or wen he said nas could have snapped his fingers or a wink n deathrow would have been killed ...
They're saying Snoop wasn't there for the CONVERSATION. Pac and Nas walked to the side to talk.
