My husband and I love watching all of your videos! We are wondering...did you ever compare your drink total to the drink package and which was the better way to go? We are cruising Carnival Venezia in October and torn on the drink package. Love you guys!
Thank you so much!! We didn't compare because we find we just don't drink the same without the drink package and it wasn't a fair comparison. We do have a drink package video that sort of goes through our thought process but I find trying all the venues and drinks worry-free adds to the fun and I think we will get it on every Carnival cruise. With Royal we get the 4 Diamond drinks per day so we probably won't with Royal unless they offer a discount for Diamond. We looked at that Carnival Venezia cruise as well! Either that or the Oasis leaving out of New Jersey, just waiting for some work commitments to get planned out. Thanks for the support and for watching!! ☀️🍻😎
@@ryanandkala That was our thought exactly , we do not want to have to worry about what we are spending, and with a package we will most definitely attempt to get our money's worth lol. Omg that's so funny we were choosing between the Oasis and the Venezia as well! We thought...9 days is better than 7, on a new ship...DEAL! HA! Any favorite vegetarian dishes on ship?
Kala said her favourite this trip was the Seaweed Salad and vegetable fried rice at Izumi. Generally, Kala likes the vegetarian food in the MDR and gets lots of Indian food because it’s also gluten free. She’s mentioned the Roasted poblano soup a few times and really enjoyed the Vegetable Chili in the MDR for lunch. We also got lots of Nachos and salads from El Loco Fresh by the pool! ☀️😎🍻
Thanks for the tip about the living room! So it is for teens but since it is empty they let adults in?

How much is the parking? Debating on driving or flying. First cruise on this ship in May. Crazy excited! Thanks for the video!
I believe parking was $20/day at the official port, I know there is some places you can park offsite but I’m not familiar with the rates! We’ve only driven to a port once and I did enjoy being on my own schedule but since we’re Canadians we mainly fly. You’re going to have so much fun! Thanks for watching ☀️😎🍻
Did they provide the shoes for rock climbing and was there a fee?
They do provide the shoes and there is no charge for the rock climbing/shoes!! Just make sure you bring socks with you when you’re ready to go :) thanks for watching!! ☀️😎🍻

Can you feel the boat rocking back and forth from the water?

Going off the ship can you do your own thing? Also can wheelchair people get off the boat I seen in Catalina you guys got on a small boat is it wheel chair accessible?
Ya for sure you can just take the boat to Catalina and just walk around like we did! I believe it is wheelchair accessible, there was a fairly steep ramp if I recall correctly so I feel like they’d require some assistance but it should be doable. Thanks for watching! 🍻☀️😎
Do you need a passport and do you think my Mom and Dad who is about to turn 80 would like this cruise??
Hey! You don’t need a passport for closed-loop sailings, meaning, if it leaves and returns to the United States (assuming you’re a US citizen). I think they would! It’s nice because it’s only a 4-Day, also, the destinations aren’t too exciting you can either stay on the ship or just hang out around town in Catalina. In Ensenada there isn’t anything at the port so you could do an excursion, head into town for shopping or just stay on the ship if there isn’t anything of interest! It sort of depends on how physically able they are for the excursions. In terms of the ship I find that there is always something for every type of cruiser, if they don’t want the pool deck vibes they can relax over in the solarium, there are great food options and lots of activities for all ages onboard. We also had very calm water and smooth sailing, I don’t know if that’s always the case but you aren’t travelling very far so the ship moves slow! Let me know if you have any other questions!!
