OMG nooooooo
This guy really loves his job. He makes this very interesting.
I have two dwarf cherry trees that this year (2015) we picked over 20 gallons of cherries. We didn't get all of them as the trees although dwarf are taller that we can get to with ladder. So we share with the birds the top ones. I make jam, juice and pies with the picked cherries. We shared some with family and friends as 20 gallon is alot to pit. Would love a tree shaker : ) We live in the city and the trees are fit right in with the landscape. Think I will try some cherry wine this year.
You get s much form only 2 trees? That's amazing! It's great that you have enough to enjoy and share, even with the birds!
I worked on this farm as a kid. We used a little different system, but this is now a one-man shaker. It took us 5 people to do what this machine does. Awesome cherries.
OMG! my dreams, visit a cherry farm and see it closer. Unfortunately there's no cherry trees exist in Indonesia. I'm a big fan of cherry..
Weda Puspa
True 😭
Weda Puspa How about Lychee in Indonesia?
Do u mean Fuck in cherry farm?
Weda Puspa hello india has Chery garden
Great video! My elementary class says thank you for posting it! We really like how you made your video, we loved watching the machine shake out the cherries!
He passed away last year. RIP.
Excellent documentary. Very informative and great visual storytelling. Thank You!
that was satisfying watching the machine mug the tree for cherries
Love tart cherries! Apparently mule deer do too. I was in Utah for about a year back in 87 and drove past those orchards fairly often. When the cherries were there mule deer were splattered on the roadside by the truckers like rabbits are around here in the south.
That is heartbreaking, poor deer !
I am SHOOK! I Had no idea this is how they picked cherries, wow!! I love cherries and can we talk about cherry pie and cherry cobbler please? YUMMY!! 🍒🍒🍒
Sour chery
Okay. Hot cherry pie with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Hows that!? lol
@@beebop9808 Yeesssss!! 😋😋😋
This isn’t how cherries are you usually shaked, that’s just a weird one man shaker, usually they have 2 machines, the shaker and the pan
I love tart cherries with Greek yogurt, raw honey, and a sprinkle of homemade granola. OFF THE CHAIN!!!
I have 2 cherries trees on my backyard, every year I have lots of beautiful fruits and very sweet. I think the weather in Utah is perfect for cherries trees. Thank you! Your video is helpful.:)
As well as this machine doesn't hurt the trees, I love it
Awwww... So nice to see Cherry farm. Greetings from the Philippines😷😁
I think what impressed me most about this was how much waste there is. @_@ I get that the thing catches a ton of cherries as they shake down, but look at how much just flies onto the ground and just gets caught in the truck.
Glass half empty huh.. 🙄
The rest is homedepot labor
Just went out and picked our own cherries and wondered how it was done commercially, although these seem to be a different type. Thanks for the video!
The leftover cherries on the ground oddly reminded me of that part in the Bible where when people harvested their grains, they were supposed to leave leftovers on their fields so the poor people could come and collect it for themselves. Then I imagined a bunch of hobos running up to the trees and collecting leftover cherries
This is about as good an explanation of this as I have seen ever, thanks, very good
Damn that’s awesome. Can’t believe those shakers get so many cherries
This video is heavenly, and heart breaking all at once. I love cherries!
First time I get to see the cherry tree so close up, or ever, loved it.
Very nice your gide line I love you your farm process 🤣
Fascinating to watch I'm only halfway through but I'm wondering if Birds ever try to make nests in those trees ...and if so ...what happens ?
The birds usually die and their nest just fall off the tree
Beautiful , i like to spend old age to theses type of nature.
fresh is best!
nice video.
I love cherries.
We had a beautiful cherry tree in our back yard. We would pick cherries and my mom would make cherry pies. That's if we could get to the cherries before the birds could eat them.
Wow no words to say lovely😀
The picking machine and pitter reminds me of something off starwars. Thanks for the vid.. i always appreciate seeing what goes on to bring us fresh foods. Rocky Mountains Rock..
You made me think fo my childhood. My grandfather had cherry trees and we picked them on a day just like today but, only on the mornings. :n))
Cool video, I enjoyed seeing how that cherry farm worked
Omg it's so nice to c cherry trees superb fruits .....
everyone stop crying about the cherries on the ground I'm sure they are food for the food chain that will eventually become fertilizer for the dirt.
Indeed! Every corn harvest leaves food behind for the birds, deer, wild turkey and rodents!
I'm a farmer in Ontario Canada. And yes your right.
Wow amazing machines
i love cherry so much
This was such a fun video to watch! Thanks for making it. I loved it!
Excellent video. Those cherries remind me of the chokecherries that grew in the yard when I was young. They were much smaller and ripened to a deep red, almost black, but as they ripened they went from green to yellow to orange to red. They ripened at different rates, so at the right time of year, sitting among the branches was an almost overwhelming barrage of color. They were terrible for eating, but made wonderful jelly.
fall my brothers, fall
Nicolas Cherry
It’s ironic to have a profile picture and a name with cherries and the video is abt cherries 😂
That is so Awesome. I love seeing the machine in action. You are a lucky guy getting to pick them.
That pipping machine :) We used to pick our cherries in the kilos and I have a machine for removing the stones but it just does one at a time. I used to dry them on a sheet like raisins it was the best way to store a lot of them through the year.
Nice video again.
wow thats harvester machine is awesome
It's fascinating to watch!
That machine is amazing!

The cherry picker machine would be nice to use for apple trees, I think I saw one similar for walnut trees, and the cherry seeder is neat. The juice and jam looked delicious!

Вот бы нам такой агрегат на шелковицу. Выросла шелковица, уходящая в поднебесье. Ягоды - мед, крупная, красивая. Собираем, в лучшем случае 5%, остальное остается на дереве.

WOWW,,YUMMY!!
In Russian language sweet cherries are not even cherries, but another fruit with separate name. And REAL cherries are tart cherries. )) And tart cherries are very great to eat. If they grown on the south they have perfect tart-sweet taste - the best in the world like they were at my gramma's house. She made, how she called "king's pozzy" with whole fruits without pit and with shelled walnuts. I do not like walnuts, but walnut in this thing was like heaven soaked in sweet-tart cherry juice.
It's beautiful and yummy 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
My gramma's tart cherries were almost black or dark-dark red.
Sweet cherry I like it
Best episode ever!
Love your channel
Rip to the cherries on the ground 😭

Me: wishing I could scoop up some of those seeds.
Lol al fruit you can choose, but they do force you to point your choice out like you might go Hulk on them, and run off with a tree lol.
I just planted two trees of this variety in New Mexico see how they do😜
