Great video! I wonder why they changed the inside so much between the BVS & the BV2S helmets. The installation and headphone placement was much easier on the BVS. The foam was indented perfectly for the headphones. I know that I use a different brand communicator and that could be the difference but our mics sound perfectly fine and clear with the mic inside the breath box of our BVS modular helmets. You can even hear it clearly when I'm stopped and the GoPro picks it up in the recording. I guess the main thing is that your setup in your helmets with your communicators are working and sounding just as good. I'm going to try to use mine on the bike this summer too. I hope they fit on my small helmets. Cheers to next season bud!
Yours isnt a BVS - its a BRP Modular helmet - I have one of those as well and yeah the ear area is really deep in the Modular 2 I have. Between the 2 helmets the Modular like yours is better in many ways. I like the weight, vision, and rear light on the BV2S but it ends there. When I rode last season I ended up selling my BV2S and wearing my Modular2 . The BV2S in this video is my sons. He had a few issues but hoping to upgrade that on maybe next season as well
I really think you should check out the mission helmet I have the carbon fibre one I mean obviously you don't have to go to the carbon fibre but anyways I got both non-heated and heated shields but apparently you don't even need a heated shield with this helmet and there's no breath box that would interrupt your communication System it is amazing helmet check it out!!
yes the mission would be great - i actually use an Oxygen - its a great helmet. This BV2S is my sons and we will upgrade it down the road but the BV2S is a good helmet
I know you can't please everyone but there's some pretty nasty reviews about these units if you read them up on Amazon I've got a communication system our sleds (BT-6R), the only unfortunate thing you can only talk to one person at a time but the reviews are much better than these units that you're promoting here
i used a few different BT in the past and we loves our first Uclear HD Force units. These are miles better in my opinion - range is good, the sound quality is good, i have no complaints with 1 season under our belts with these - highly recommend them
