Once upon a time, the next best thing to watching the game was Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton's breakdown on Monday AM sportsradio. I watch most Chargers podcast content, but am starting to look forward to Alex every Monday morning. Appreciate your efforts.
Kinda true but i think one possession game turnover with the amount of time the Falcons had left in theory is more of a game ending individual play to me than the hail mary knock down near the goal line. Good call tho. -Alex
falcons really figured out the chargers offense during their bye week. if the chargers want any chance at getting a wildcard win, the offense absolutely have to learn from this week. wr core was horrid outside of ledede
Watching the film last week it would appear also this game that Romans offense is not scheming guys open very often. It’s more so calling plays that force the players to go 1 on 1 and win their matchups and they are not winning except for Ladd. If Roman can help his receivers with scheming them open, they could have more success, as opposed to calling plays that are strictly designed for the offense to beat the defensive player and get open. I hope they take a look at the film and realize that going forward.
I believe that's partially true, but i also don't really know if there's sustainable ways to scheme the non-Ladd WR/TEs open when theyre playing this poorly as separators. -Alex
OC needs to mix up the play calling. Herbert gets sacked and we keep running these long developing plays. Give JH some quick hitters so we can keep the defense guessing. Also helps for our interior Oline. As far as defense goes, I see Jasir Taylor and Kristian Fulton as our weak links.
Chargers have 10 draft picks and close to 100 million in cap space. If they succeed in this draft like they did in 2024 and draft a tight end and interior offensive and defensive line, also get tee Higgins, Colts Pro bowl center, and a guard in free agency, then 25 season should be a leap forward
@@guiltyascharged7752 Keenan Allen said he is willing to come back, but I suspect it will have to be at a discount, considering his age. But getting that colts center, Ryan Kelly, and drafting interior lineman to develop under pro bowl veterans is the way to go. You have to build through the draft.
Hated the fake punt call, but i also wasn’t thrilled about Stone Smartt not extending the football one yard short on 4th down. Didn’t love QJ not fighting for the first down when he cut his route too short on 3rd down. Didn’t love Palmer not fighting through the contact on the PI flag that got picked up last week. We need more of a play through the whistle attitude on offense, especially without JK, who fights for every inch every game.
Roman needs to start using this offense better needs to run the ball more and stop trying to use qj what he is bad at and start using dj chark as the X wr he is the best on the roster at that you can tell justin only is trusting ladd and dissly you can noy trust QJs hands at all roman wants to constantly try for chunk plays thats good to do but not all game hard for offense to get in a rythym needs to mix it up more use gus and vidal more and vidal can be a good check down option and other stuff in the passing game just got to mix it up more on offense the second half play calling is so bad it has yo get better what happened to wanting to running the damn ball gus and vidal can carry the offense enough its just really weird gotta get back to 25-30 carrys a game from the rbs and a couple qb design runs for herbert
Who was your MVP from the Falcons game? Mine's obviously #3⚡️

Thanks Milton for the kind words! Appreciate you watching.
-Alex
Thanks for the video, Ladd!
Youre welcome lol
-Alex
Alex, thanks for the content and coverage! Much appreciated..
A pleasure! Thanks for watching.
-Alex
Alex, great work, love seeing you pumped about the team. Also, Daiyan has corrected some folks to say it’s pronounced “Day-On”
Good to know, thanks for telling me.
-Alex
Loved the closing comment. 😂
Youre welcome lol
-Alex
Hey, thanks Alex for another great discussion. Darwin James ended the game two weeks ago against the Bengals. How soon do we forget ?🤣

-Alex
You almost got me foo 😂 I thought that was Ladd money mcconkey
Who says it isnt😂
-Alex
I thought about that Raiders Monday night game when Derwin made the play. Offense is gonna have to hope for a couple QJ busted coverages this week.
Yep, first real game ending play that came to mind for me. Although i could be forgetting others.
-Alex

Not sure if theres much to learn, just have to perform at a higher level. Its the same stuff we've seen all year from a separation standpoint.
-Alex
Bolting everywhere all over my office today , lets gooooo
Bolted up all over my computer and now it needs to be fixed
-Alex
Lowkey thought this was Ladd 😭⚡️ all love
Lol, never getting a haircut again😂
-Alex
That was DJ's "Flash" move to stop that run.
Absolutely nasty stuff.

Alternate title: Falcon defense DOMINATES Chargers offense. Michael Penix Jr ascension.
Certainly glass half full vs glass half empty approaches lol
-Alex
Since it’s a Chargers channel and you want an alternate title then it should be Chargers defense dominates Falcons offense and win the game.
Are we sure DJ Chark is alive
Alive enough for 2 snaps yesterday at least😂
-Alex

Yeah, I do think it's on Roman to find some easy stuff. Even if that is very difficult rn with the personnel.
-Alex
I think that this teams best shot at a deep postseason run is the defense being nails and Herbert catching fire in the playoffs.
That's the path, although asking that much of your defense every game can be unsustainable.
-Alex
@@guiltyascharged7752I think they just need to be healthy and do what they’ve done all season, not necessarily replicate yesterday.
Day-on
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind for the future!
-Alex
Alex looks like Ladd McKonkey
First time im hearing this lol

yep, lotta assets to use in 2025 for sure. Should be some degree of smoother offensive sailing after this year.

It will be hard to win in the playoffs without a number 1 WR Go Chargers
Yep. Just need more consistent contributions on offense from non-ladd targets. Otherwise sustainability in winning comes into question.

Yeah, the receivers certainly left a lot out there on the field. Unfortunately just not a pass catcher who will step up other than Ladd.
-Alex
Why isnt QJ used like Debo Samuel is for the 49ers? QJ is the exact same archetype.
not nearly the level of separator or talent Deebo is.

Is that Brad Pitt
Aw thank you❤️

Agreed, i definitely think they at least have to try Chark in the prototypical x role
-Alex
Wtf was that racist ssa rant at the end tho. 😂😂
What lmao i just was calling the kirko chains bit corny
-Alex
Nice try Ladd
Cant get anything past you guys
