One of the things I love about Yusei is how nothing fazes him. Even when he takes a massive ammount of damage to his life points, he still keeps his cool and waits patiently for the right moment to counterattack. He will always be my favorite character in all of Yu-Gi-Oh.

@@Cindy67917 They were already confirmed to be in the same timeline, Trudge in this series is the same Tetsu Trudge that bullied Yugi Muto. So 5Ds at the most takes place 30 years after the original series.

I love the dubs of the first 3 shows to death, especially 5Ds. I wish there was a realistic way to have the whole series dubbed but with no censorship. Or even the last season of GX and 5Ds to get dubbed. The only way I could think is to hire the VAs to dub them, but that would take a really long time and be pricey.

I remember growing up with this show in middle school. Pretending my new bike was a duel runner, and blitzing around the neighborhood. I loved Yugi and Jaden, but Yusei just had this cool factor to him that couldn’t be beat.

I'm watching it for the first time. The last time I saw Yugioh was the GX era but I have heard that 5ds is a very good Anime too so I decided to watch it after all these years.

This series is now give or take ten years old, a whole decade has gone by. I remember watching this when it first came out. I was in middle school then. Still is my favorite yugioh with the best theme. Ten years since we got this though, yugioh has never been the same

I remember I just happened to catch an episode of this yu-gi-oh randomly one day. And since I used to watch the original so much I was so excited when I thought they had mad a new one (and immediately fell for Yusei). Later I find out that I never watched them in order and it was out longer than I thought haha (his criminal mark gave it away, since I thought he had it from the beginning) 😂😅
Yeah every now nd then i come back and binge some yugioh. Just to relive my childhood a lil.

He did mess up the combo though. Junk synchron already summons a lvl 2 or lower monster from your gy. So graceful revival wasnt necessary. Then he could of used graceful revival after summoning Junk warrior instead of vision wind to bring back speed warrior to activate junk warriors effect.

Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds was spectacular the best storyline the best music the best characters the eng dub is good too but the Japanese version is legendary.

At first I wondered why Yusei didn't activate his Scrap-Iron Scarecrow trap to block Montage Dragon's attack, but after reading up on the Wiretap trap that Trudge used, it actually forces Yusei to shuffle his own trap back into his deck if Wiretap was able to negate its effect. Sucks.

It all startet with a guy who want revenge for a Card and his bike and it ends with a legendary duel in the sky to stop a guy with the same face who transformed a whole city into a giant bomb!

Not only that. These guys are driving on insane speeds. In real life, a card game on motorcycles would be illegal. Just imagine the number of people that would die playing this card game while driving on motorcycles.
on like 12:10 it said auto pilot enganged, so it's probably not as dangerous as you think.
And the speed for spell they always activate engages their virtual world so no one else can engage or interfere in their duel
Not only that later they created a system to warn people to get off the road when Turbo Duels happen soooo I'm pretty sure the writers took reality and drivers safety into account

You'd be surprised to know that a far amount of DBZ actors voice in shows like Yu-Gi-Oh!.
Always hated how, by the time the Grand Prix started, a lot of the people that helped out Yusei ended up disappearing without a trace.
I guess they were either ''kidnapped'' or ''sent to the ''Netherworld''.
The Policeman's voice is actually Yugi's voice (the Pharaoh's )...

God, this bring back so many memories. Yugioh 5ds had been my favorite yugioh series both in sub & dub version. I will always remember yuesi summoning stardust dragon no matter the situation were always my favorite moments.
Remember when I was 11 years old and 5Ds was beginning (early in Japan) , that was amazing with this synchro thème!
Now I'm 25 and full of nostalgia ;)

Bro I was literally tripping. As a kid I never noticed that the announcers voice is literally goku ( Sean Schemmel ). Yugioh 5ds brings me back to 3rd grade mornings on “4Kids”
two things i love about this show.
1. it uses the past and future to tell an intricate and interesting story (this is presented a heck of alot more in season two and three but who cares)
2. it uses dueling to tell a story instead of story telling used for dueling (*cough cough* yubel and neo-spacians *cough cough*)
