Not complicated at all just add to your schedule a half hour bed making task
When you know what you’re doing you literally just throw it together and it looks just as nice. This is not minimalistic look that needs proportion and neat lines, this is cozy so it can be imperfect. Proper color coordination matter the most in this. ♥️

It literally takes about 3 minutes to do this after you get out of bed, it's not like you're putting sheets on after washing and everything it's literally just putting pillows back on your bed and folding your blankets.
Love when my husband crawls into bed and fires all my decor pillows across the room! 😂
As a guy, I do this when going to like a hotel, I'll just take them and throw them across the room while saying "GET THAT OUTTA HERE!"

All those pillows will be thrown on the floor when I sleep on the bed. That is exactly what I do when I go to hotels. I use 1 pillow

I’m married to a veteran and have become accustomed to the “military made bed” but this is A LOT of work to make and to take apart when you’re ready for bed.

You are awesome!!! Yes they are uneven. I had to film this while my kids were taking a nap and I saw they were uneven but I had to choose between making the frames look perfect or being able to start and finish filming before kids get up 😅🙌🏻 so this time I decided to try and not have it all perfect and just do the job ♥️

I use 3 pillows to sleep and one blanket and when I tried this half of my bed had pillows and my bed was hotter then the sun! But still looks nice

Nice video, but here’s a question. How do you keep a rea lively net, or at least clean, looking bed when you have 2 large dogs in the house? I don’t want to keep them off the bed, they’re my buddies and sleep with me, but even if I can’t keep it neat I’d like to at least find a way to keep dirty paw prints off it.
Just tuck all layers in between mattress and the bed tightly. That way layers will be hard to mess up. And as far as pillows, they usually don’t get messed up even if kids jump on bed and it’s very easy to fix them if your dogs mess them up. Use neutral but darker colors like grey, brown for top layers.
@@KateFranchuk Os there a classy way to cover the lower half of the mattress and covers so that dirty paws don’t get dirt on a nice duvet cover?
@@RobinP556 use layers of throws, quilts that you are ok with getting some dirt on and wash them when it needs washing. More layers of quilts and throws will only make bed look even cozier 👍🏻

Can you recommend pillows that fit king size pillow cases? I’ve had the worst luck with this. I’ve looked for XL options but none. All the king size pillows I’ve purchased all are too small and there is so much excess material from the case. It looks cheap.

I don’t incorporate that many colors in our home. Colors carry too much distraction for me visually. Neutrals are more calming for me personally 😘🫶🏻

Это на самом деле очень быстро. Когда знаешь что делаешь, то реально просто «кидаешь» все по очереди на кровать и все. Даже если не стараешься, то в итоге все равно выглядит кровать красиво и приятно.
People complain about making their bed look nice. I don’t wanna see the rest of their home then.😅 2-3 min to make the bed and if you have a partner it’s quicker.
Yes, you are right…I think we’re sometimes too lazy to invest our time and effort into making our living space beautiful and cozy. We should love the space we live in and making it cozy does take some of our time 👍🏻😘🫶🏻

ok where do i sleep with pillows taking up half the bed?
Pillows and everything else that you don’t need on the bed during sleep gets taken off the bed into a corner and when you make the bed, you quickly throw it all back together 🫶🏻

More likely other way around. It may get complicated if you choose to, but it can be cheap too. All HomeGoods. I mean cmon, you can find pillows and bed accessories even at Costco. My sister got amazing oversized white plush pillows at Costco for her bed 🙏🏻

For sure. Your best option is minimalism. I’ve been sleeping with only one pillow and some nights no pillow at all. So my bed is super minimal right now, but I do like cozier look during winter 🫶🏻

Yes, it is OTT. You should absolutely not consider this the ultimate and only way to make your bed look good and beautiful. This is one of the ways and is for people who love playing around with layers, textures and pillows 🫶🏻

Yeah, the bench was purchased before the bed and I always think of it too. You may have just motivated me to put it up for sale and get an appropriate length bench 🙌🏻

I am about to get a king size bed. I dread thinking of the day that a woman comes in adds 12 unnecessary pillows to my bed. I’m being generous and thinking about buying 4 king size pillows because women hate that I only have 2 rn 😂. Long story short, how do people really sleep like this comfortably? I’m just confused on the concept of more than 4 pillows in a bed
I like sometimes placing one pillow behind my back when I’m sleeping on my side, another one hugging so my shoulder can rest, the third one in between legs 🤣😆 but I’ve been sleeping with only 1 pillow lately.
