I didn't watch chhichore when it released. Everyone was telling good reviews and still I didn't feel like watching. I thought may be someday. Same with the movie 'lunchbox'. Everyone was in awe with Irfan Khan's work and I kept postponing that movie. Yesterday I watched Chhichhore and it felt so heartbreaking. Knowing that the man who gave life to Anirudh onscreen will never come back was so strange. He was too young to leave with all the unfulfilled dreams.

Exactly same with me. I heard about how good Chhichhore was, but did not watch it. Concerning Lunchbox, I too postponed it year after year since 2013! And then after Irrfan Khan passed away, it hit me hard that I never watched it when he was there, and should definitely do it now. Now, same feeling comes with Sushant's Chhichhore.

If you watch his interviews, you come to a realization that he was this smart, introverted genius who loved science and spirituality in equal measures. He made acting look so easy. His characters (most of them) are so different from his personality in Interviews. That's just goes on to show what an excellent actor he is. (still can't use past tense) and maybe that's why somewhere we as the audience also failed him and not just the politics of the industry. We never gave him the kind of appreciation he deserved. I hope you forgive us Sushant. We are so terribly sorry here. I hope you're watching us right now and I hope you realize that there was always this sense of appreciation buried deep inside us, for you. Sorry, we had to lose you in such a devastating way, to realize your value. Rest easy, you star.

I rewatched this movie after reading the original book "The three mistakes of my life". The film adaptation is much better and loved the acting of all the actors. This movie is a gem. RIP Ishaan (Sushant). You will always be loved.
