      sausage man thank you, into you know the saying, she is definitely a better half, and the new video equipment is really working out well, but at the same time we still have a lot of learning about it, Neither one of us is very good with technology

    try going over chalk line with cheep hair spray wont wash out when gluing ,although red is a better choice blue .RED for concrete,blue for wood......50yrs IN.

    This video will definitely help someone out . Thanks for taking time out to make these . I’ve been doing carpeting over 17 years and still enjoy watching these videos you make. I’ve thought of RUclips and sharing what I know but not sure where to begin lol . Not good with computers .

      CarpetMan I promise I’m not good with computers either I never knew how to do hardly anything and I still don’t unless I just want to figure something out, then I just sit down and figure it out takes me a long time but eventually I’m figuring it out, didn’t want to have it figured out I can improve on it , Thank you for watching my videos, I know you have been around here for a long time and I appreciate it, thank you

    If that hallway was 9'11" use your center line to follow your tiles down the line and that would make it to where you would split a tile for the fills down both sides of the hallway

      shawn moore It wasn’t completely straight so I ended up shaving anywhere from a half to 3/4 of an inch off of each side of the room so it ended up having almost full tiles on each side of the room

    Are the grey marks where you covered up nail holes from wood strips for carper? If so what did you use?

      Man you are fast. Thx for replying. I don't have a hard surface but plywood subfloor in my house. Would this still work?

      chyren hayes If the floor as much movement in it when you walk on it I would recommend just sanding the high spots and use as little floor patch as possible, since you are using a pill and stick product dust on the floor will be an issue, just before you start laying I would take a damp mop over the whole floor to remove any dust and then install, I hope this is helpful
