the guy is choi hyun wook, he's a new actor. he was in the drama "2521" and "weak hero class 1" this year, he's really talented. the girl filming is park jihu from "all of us are dead".
the video is a view on the parasocial relationship formed between idols and fans, where we really feel like they are ours friends but ultimately they are people we don't know. Those relationships despite bringing comfort and company when we feel the most lonely can also be damaging to one's life and that is represented in the video as the girl alienated herself from her classmates, walks in the rain and dangerously backwards on a rooftop. Ultimately as she grows older, she is able to grow up and move on from her loneliness and form a real relationship with the boy on the video while also looking back with fondness at NewJeans and the comfort they brought her.

Thats a really good interpretation. Same goes for the parasocial relationships made by chatters and the streamers they watch. They think theyre friends, but that streamer will never be a close friend of yours.
It has a ditto (side B) too, not only (side A) you should watch it :))
This song reminds me of girlhood and school days. Such a sentimental vibe and really, a unique one. I love the grainy camcorder recordings, very late 90s vibes.

This song has B side too. The one you watch is A side. According to me the girl who is recording is alone and doesn't have any friends so she made some imaginary friends and in B side mv the boy in the MV dragged her from imagination to reality. And when she becomes an adult she found the old tape of her recording and missed her imaginary friends😊
