Chiunque abbia imbracciato un basso elettrico ha sognato almeno per un istante di avere alle spalle il leggendario frigorifero di Ampeg! Stagliandosi sui palchi di tutto il mondo con quel design elegante, il suono granitico e le dimensioni faraoniche, Testata SVT e Cabinet 8x10 sono uno stack che è diventato un'icona di rock e derivati. Per questo oggi, ci piace da pazzi l'idea di potersi portare questo mito sui sedili posteriori di un utilitaria o di fianco al comodino!
Grande idea quella di Ampeg che, a distanza di oltre 50 anni, celebra il suo modello più iconico, lo storico SVT, proponendone lo stile in un formato decisamente ridotto.

The speaker? You could, but you shouldn't. You probably will kill the speakers.
Yeah this isnt meant for that. If you got a 500 watt head youre gonna want a cab that can eat up that power. This isnt that. This is meant more for doing some stuff at home, the studio, very small gigs, or i guess larger if you mic it up or run it to the house.
@@trenken two of the SVT-210s gets you up to gig-level so you can feel/hear it when mic'ing it up. Guess you could reinforce more low end push with the open-back 112 combined with the closed box 210.
Not as it is, but you could if the amp has an effects loop, you put a volume box in the effects loop. I assume you're talking about a solid-state head. There's a few products, you could build your own, or get something like the JHS Little Black Amp Box or cheaper equivalent. Put it at the end of any pedals in the effects loop chain. Then turn down the level of that right down so that the power amp is getting a significantly reduced signal level. Start low, play at a loud but clean volume on the bass, and have someone very slowly bring that volume control at the end of the effects loop up in increments, taking note of the level. Make sure the speakers are never sounding significantly stressed, until you find the point where the speaker just about starts to grumble, and then back off the volume back into the safe zone. Then see how the amp reacts to your effects like compression, drive etc..., again slowly. And then make sure that volume reduction is always in place, secure it that way so no one can change it accidentally. In the studio and hi-fi world, people use very over powered (2-4x) amps all the time with speakers that they could easily blow. But they just are careful with the master volume. With bass guitar, have to be a bit more careful, especially if gigging live and wanting to really push it.
