for me, it's the most beautiful concert I've seen, simply reed in top form with Mick Hucknall's voice that hasn't changed, an extraordinary symphony orchestra, a stage with great lighting and spectators boosted by this music, really, everything was there. I'm 73 and I've seen dozens of concerts, but this one is fabulous!

Although I agree he is a fantastic singer - his voice is not holding up. He can't hit the high notes, he leaves it to the audience (good showmanship) - Elton John does the same when i saw him a few years ago. To be expected, you can't keep that range forever.

The last time Simply Red was in the USA. March of 2009 Club Nokia, LA and New York the next night. I'll never forget it because I finally saw them in a live Concert. If you look up Blackwilderness he recorded darn near the entire concert in LA. An interesting side note his daughter and wife were present at the event a few rows from us.
Mick Hucknall has a fantastic voice. So great to hear it again. My mother loved Simply Red when I was a kid so his music was always playing in the house. I love it to this day. Such happy music. Reminds me of childhood and happiness.
I love how as children - eventually we take on their music likes as adults. My dad pumped out James Taylor. Eagles, Paul Simon and boy did I hate them as a child. Now I love them.
