    Real simple. Just don’t quit, you’re not supposed to do everything they make you do to perfection or even close to, it’s purposely designed to create stress and make you realize you’re not Superman, you’re literally supposed to give in, all they want is to see you just keep trying even when you can’t. They know you’re not captain America. Embrace the suck. And second, be team first always. And 3, go for the right reason. The guys that quit just want the title but don’t wanna actually be the job or put in the work

    part of the problem they discuss in the podcast that i think the world has twisted..... being an "alpha male" has nothing to do with your stature, your status, where you grew up, how much money or assets you have...its all about your attitude towards life and others. every man has the "alpha male" inside of him....the hard part is building enough self esteem and self respect to stick to your word and your actions no matter what. admit your mistakes, learn from your failures, but something we attribute to being an alpha is the ability to do an about face and immediately keep stepping forward... not wallow in complacency and regret. everyone should watch this at least twice, this is powerful stuff.

    • @ThisisFerrariKhan
      @ThisisFerrariKhan 2 года назад +1

      False. Being an alpha male has to do with ALL of what you stated above INCLUDING your financial state. Finances are DIRECTLY associated with one’s mental state. You can’t be poor and alpha and you can’t be broke and alpha either. There’s a reason why most Spec Ops are financially in the highest tax brackets. Cause being alpha financially is DIRECTLY associated with being alpha mentally.

    • @_winter_maryrose4684
      @_winter_maryrose4684 2 года назад +2

      @@ThisisFerrariKhan dude no, at least I don’t think so. You need to make the first step, that first step in building that self esteem and self respect like what was previously stated. It does matter what kind of poor, rich, fancy, farm life or even high rise life you come from, cuz in all those scenarios you can either be extremely happy or extremely depressed. But anyway, it’s what you do and how you conduct yourself afterwards is what counts, whether you fight and fight again or not at all. Just my two cent🤙

I'm speaking from how we speak and think in Spec Ops and the truth is, being in the Spec Ops community is the utmost of the 'toxic' alphamale points that you spoke on as well as about being elite in EVERY aspect of life outside of those parameters. I try to avoid the process of self destruction, because I am aware of it every day. I see people who for some reason, are on second or third chances. Act as if its OK to begin to quit on themselves, instead of just showing up. Because in my belief, showing up is like 70 percent of the job.the other 30 percent is working hard . Then the other 5 percent is maintaining the attitude of gratitude, because thier is nothing worse than having it all if you don't mentor the next one . Because no body walks into anything knowing everything. Somebody took time and shared thier knowledge with you. Mercy means healing, grace means the patience to heal.

    I was a Navy Corpsman (HM3) from 1964-1968 and don’t believe the SEALS existed then, but we did have the Navy Divers. Even though I was in Nam w/the Marines in ‘66 I would never have had the stuff to be a SEAL. These guys have my utmost respect.

      SEALs existed back then, however the pipeline into them was UDT first, then a yr or so later attending Cadre training and into the SEAL teams. There was only SEAL team 1 & 2 in the early days. Amazing how far it all has progressed. In WW2 the fore runners to the SEALs was named NCDU, or Naval combat demolition units. They performed hydrographic beach reconnaissance, such as clearing underwater obstacles before D day for instance, and various ship underwater hull inspections, harbors, demolitions work.

    Ray! The dude is harder than woodpecker lips! Talks mad shit, but in good humor. He can back it up though. And the combined score is, or was a number referred to as AFQT. Mine was 82 and I didn't have a high school diploma. Matter of fact all I had was a sixth grade education. You just had to know how to take a test. I got my education since then. Go Navy!

    Ray, was it you who once on-video told that story about taking out your trash can in Virginia Beach shortly after a SEAL mission that had made news headlines, and your neighbor, a slightly older lady, came across the street to give you a heartfelt hug, and said something along the lines of “You never really know what your neighbors do for a living, do you?”
    If so, “Mark Owen” recently told that exact same story on a recent interview that he did.
    So if that was you who also told that story on-video once in the past, which one of y’all stole that story from the other?

      I think it was originally Mark Owen’s story and other greedy ass SEALs have tried to capitalize on it. SEALs who are out in the media spew lots of bullshit to make money.
