This should have been titled Perforce & Remote Team collaboration. He never talked about any workflows that are not specific to Perforce. The topic was interesting, and the network topology part was good, but the title is misleading.
I guess it is assumed that using Source Control with Unreal Engine automatically means Helix Core, but I agree that it would be interesting to see if there could be viable alternatives depending on the project.
Now I want to see a full workflow with just Github Desktop, for the sake of us amateur indies.

What is keeping the Unreal GIT plugin in (BETA)? It seems to have been there for a long time now.
Unforunately that's true with a lot of engine features - most plugins are either listed as experimental or beta (with beta being more advanced).
