The dichotomy between Dot and Lorraine was some of the best character development, writing, acting and chemistry out of all the Fargos. When Lorraine told her 'no daughter of mine is going down on the one yard line...' I cried like a baby. Dot really put herself on the map. She was perfect.
Baby when she said “Listen Bitch…” I became a fan!! And I love the way she snaps out of it and goes back to the happy-go-lucky housewife.. this season was superb!!!
So talented, I don't think anyone on television writes better villain characters than him. I haven't watched S4 but all the other seasons have had an uniquely incredible villain of some sort. I think this will be looked back at as the best anthology series of all time next to The Twilight Zone by end of its run
This scene is riveting! Lorraine didn’t expect the you-bitch bomb. She thought she was the power source until she was fed her own medicine. It’s hilarious! 😂
I gotta say, Lorraine recovered perfectly after that little surprise. Very hard to keep her off balance: she is always ready to adapt and doesn't let her ego lead the way.
Aw, I wouldn't say wasted. This is just a meatier role. Her acting and the makeup department make her nearly unrecognizable, this may be my favorite season.
Never underestimate someone who has lost everything, climbed their way back and doesn't mind getting dirty. All the entitled, privilege in the world isn't capable of accepting the retaliation of someone with nothing to lose.

Honestly Lorraine Lyon stole the show for me Her acting and the way she played the character was just outrageously good and high tier Even though she's a horrible person, I absolutely loved every scene she was in
Very good scene, initially it sets up Dot as someone who might be playing the game and trying to he a social climber, but then you realise it's a defense mechanism due to past trauma and genuinely loves her son
i really hate that I missed the 2nd episode !! I’ll never get to see it because for some reason they never release the Fargo series on dvd or TV. I can’t afford all these streaming options. 😢
I believe the change in accent is "code switching"? And just to be clear, JJL's character is not changed or reformed. She only now respects Dot because she can be ruthless. Their motivations for being ruthless are completely different.
Dot really is THAT girl. One episode in and she is already my favorite character in all five seasons.

How Lorraine’s face just ever so slightly drops in disbelief when Dot gets real with her is priceless! Excellent acting, both Jennifer and Juno!
I love how everyone keeps underestimating Dot, but she proves to be a force to be reckoned with.
