@@SaishuuKessen its not sarcasm. its a unique thing about the FGC that you can make this video and it be useful. a video about apex or even OG doom tech would be thrown in the trash but with the fgc you can still get the classic feel of studying vhs evo footage.
dont care for the new GGs, they are a dumbed down version of the old ones.. just one step forward 2 steps back. I mean certainly the ability to slow down the game with the FRC(or YRC whatever)is new, and it is progressive. But it comes at the cost of other things, instead of only adding to the depth, it tries to pick and choose. Im not familar with the Parry how it works in rev 2 i forget what its even called. I suppose again its cool cuz you can combo out of it, and with the forward dust or whatever it allows for some interesting things. But for all the interesting things they added, they took away stuff. So it only equals out at best, instead of adding to teh game. SO then you get into the fact that the game is also slower and more sluggish feeling, the characters themselves are often dumbed down versions and not as interesting. The new characters are in general "anime" characters in the bad sense of the term, and even if you dont agree with that subjective statement, we can objectively say the new characters are not as unique as the old ones comparetively when they all came out. So again I suppose system wise its one step forward one step back maybe if you are trying to positive(..)but then the game is slower, the characters in genearl arent as interesting.. its just overall not a progressive game so why play it imo. If anything the devolopers are lucky that characters like johnny are good in it, because he is a interesting character that is fun to watch from a viewer perspective so he makes the game look and better than it actually is
