The Strv 103 S-Tank was a Swedish main battle tank that was intended to deal with the invading Soviet armour. It was also designed to match the kind of environments that it would have been fighting in which could change from rolling fields to forests and rocky terrain. John shows off a great set of techniques, trips and tricks for how to bring this tank to life for the new Nordic Forces book.

Ah! you got ur hands on one 😄
I love the S-tank. Nicely done.
Great Job John! Thanks for the camo tutorial!
1:05 I mean almost 300 of them were built and it was in service from 1967 to 1997
Finally someone got one of these things...🤔👍
I believe the left one of the two funny boxes on the front has a fixed machine gun in it if I remember right.
Can you give us a list of the actual (Vallejo) camouflage colours the painting guide in the book suggests? I would like to check and see if I need any colours or if I have what's needed already
the list in the description is correct for the scheme except the green which is Flat Olive instead of Flat green
I don't know what it says about me that this makes me want to get a swedish army...
Was the nickname for this vehicle the ‘stridsvagen’? I remember reading it somewhere a while.
Very nice tutorial!
Now I’m waiting to see how someone would paint Finnish forces. 😂
Need to Swede intensifies...
Was 4 colour applied to a template or was it varied by vehicle?
That I don't know. I can only assume they have a diagram for best application?
@@CoffeeHobby Did only do conscription , but we recived the same "education" from what I could gather from other folk , it was basicly a few guidelines and then up to each crew for each vehicle/tank to apply it , so it wasnt as rigid as say the berlin camo , some only applied fir twighs if they could get the ok from the closest officer
@@matso3856 Brilliant! Thank's for the insight dude. That's going to help in a future project :D
